That's why the PC-60B PLUS II is designed to protect its cargo from excess heat with a veritable maelstrom of air. It isn't just that this case has an 80mm fan on the roof and one in the rear, or the 120mm Fan up front and one on the side panel. It is the skill and precision in which they are placed, to make the cooling power of four fans greater than the sum of its parts.
With all of that, you can feel secure filling it's four external 5.25" and two external 3.5" drive bays, and its ample five internal hard drive bays without fear of blocking air flow to your maxed out ATX motherboard, all seven of its PCI expansion slots full. Your system will remain safe and cool in the hottest gaming situation or under the most demanding processing load.

The best case I ever had
- Pros: Very light I don’t even think its 10 lbs. Stays cool. Easy access and removal of components (Power supply and motherboard can be installed conventionally or slid in from the rear). Bright blue and red LED lights. Very quiet fans.
- Cons: The reset button doesn’t stick out far enough. The usb/audio/1394 cover seems a little weak. (I could be wrong; I haven’t managed to break it yet.) Finger prints show up very easily, but can be wiped off easily with a dry cloth or towel. I would suggest getting extra thumb screws, mine only had one extra.
- Other Thoughts: This case is actually aluminum. Almost any part can easily be removed with thumb screws. The face pops off with a simple pull from bottom. My HDD coolers were hard to install, but I did get them in. The description provided by neweegg the exactly what it is (except that its aluminum). This case looks very nice without making people thing your computer was made by aliens. For more reviews there is also a silver version newegg is offering (PC-60APLUSII). I saw it but got this one as soon as it was available. Overclockers will love this case. It vents almost all heat from components and absorbs the rest like a big heat sink. And if you have some crazy big cooling system over your processor the heat duct can be completely removed. This was worth the money.
NICE!
- Pros: I am really loving this case. Working on this thing is truly easy. It comes with a TON of thumbscrews so you can darn near install every component with one. Even came with a small nut driver to install the MoBo standoffs. Worth every penny.
- Cons: The fan on the top of the case is about 1 inch to close to the rear of the case. It makes installing a monster PSU (raidmax volcano 630w) kinda challenging. In the end I used some left over mobo standoffs to slighty extend the PSU mounting plate. Bought me just enough room. Also the fans are not the quietest. Even at lower rpm the 12cm chipset fan is real loud so plan on replacing them if your after a quiet box.
- Other Thoughts: A little bit of Dynamat on some of the surfaces dissipated just over 20db (A-weight). Kinda blew me away when I measured. Yes, I am a sound engineer and yes, I do own a db meter.

Not for NVidia GTX Cards
- Pros: Lots of space. Fan over video cards is brilliant. Provides easy access to everything (both sides, top and front are easy to remove). Well thought-out with the one exception (see cons).
- Cons: Couldn't use the top fan due to the size of my PSU. Hard drives cannot be installed in the hard drive tray if you have a large graphics card (i.e. NVidia GTX series) installed. Lian Li provides a bracket that allows you to switch the orientation of your hard drives in the drive tray which will allow you to mount the tray in the case provided you have only a single large graphics card installed -- but the fit is super-tight.
If you have 2 large graphics cards (like I do) it is IMPOSSIBLE to mount the drive tray due to the drive cables (SATA connectors and power) extending out into the space that the graphics cards are occupying.
I really loved this case and was happy that everything was so well thought-out until I got to the last step in the assembly process and realized there was just no way I was going to be able to have my hard drives and graphics cards co-exist in the same case peacefully. It was quite a let-down.
Amazing Case!
- Pros: I used to be into the whole flashy colors and fancy things but not anymore. The case is very plain and smooth. It is very light (until you put the guts into it. haha). Has thumb screws for just about everything! Can be taken almost completely apart. Dropped cpu and mobo temps about 5C.
- Cons: Some edges sharp but fine if you aren't too big of a klutz. Remember when I said has thumbscrews for just about everything? Well, that's 95% the other 5% are regular screws... My 4870 and internal 3.5 bays are hitting each other. Slide out mobo tray wont slide in or out with a large aftermarket heat sink on the cpu.
- Other Thoughts: Could have made it a few inches deeper and wider. Why not just put thumbscrews on the rest of the 5%?
Worth much more
- Pros: This case should cost a lot more. I work with aluminum sheet metal, and we couldn't make this for 10x what I paid. Really well put together and designed. I love the look. Functionally, everything fits EXACTLY. Includes 4 fans and you can reverse the direction on any of them to your liking. The four sides and top remove. The top fan is 1" away from my Corsair 750 power supply, so no problems there. I'm glad I researched and chose this brand for my first build.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: You won't regret this purchase.
