2 out of 5 eggsScrews

Pros: Except for the motherboard standoff and screw issue discussed below the case is superb.

Cons: The little sealed package of standoffs and screws for mounting the motherboard do not work together. The screws are too large to screw into the female end of the standoff all the way so the motherboard can not be secured. When fastening the screw into the standoff fine metal shavings are produced that deposit on the motherboard and in the case. Also, the sealed package contained 12 standoffs but only of these lovely 6 screws. ATX motherboards typically require 9 screws. For $130 I expect better screws. I've run into this with other Lian Li cases as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: Price.
Compact and easy to work with.
Fits CoolerMaster v8 almost perfectly.
Very clean external look.
Feels sturdy.

Cons: no holes to set wires behind the motherboard for clean look.
Back exhaust fan was not big enough.

Other Thoughts: I used this case to build a computer for a friend. Originally we used one of those simple CoolIT all in one liquid cooling with the radiator supposedly mounted on the back exhaust fan but it wouldnt fit. We later used the CoolerMaster v8 and it fit perfectly. It was about 1/2 inch from touching the window. I had an EVGA GTX 285 SC in it and it barily fit. If it was any longer I would have had to relocate the harddrive from the harddrive carriage because it was blocking the way.

5 out of 5 eggswow, just wow.

Pros: I was recommended by a good friend to buy a Lian Li case, and I don't think I will buy any other brand of PC case after using this. This brings a whole new standard to my expectations from a PC case. Everything is modular and can be adjusted to fit your needs. If you want the ultimate case, get this one without hesitating. Well worth the money. I will opt on another soon for the media server I'm about to build.

Cons: none really.

Other Thoughts: Fans are a bit loud when you fire up your machine, but I knew that when I bought a case with this many fans. I don't care much about the noise as you can't hear it when you're gaming anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case. Some problems...

Pros: Looks nice, the clear side panel and black finish gives it a sleek look. Fans are alright, i mean stock is stock, want better ones your going to have to replace them. But I still have the stock fans in cooling a NVIDIA Geforce 9800 on a EVGA 780i sli mobo with a Intel Quad Core and it cools it efficiently under stress....though I haven't bothered over clocking it.

Cons: This was probably just a fluke with mine but the blue LED on the front of the case that's supposed to be representing the hard drive simply doesn't work. I double checked the wiring....it's the LED light trust me. Also the little cover they have on the front of the case that covers the two USB, mic and headphone ports and the 1394 port snaps off SO easily....flimsy plastic holding in a metal bar? It's also too small of an opening for bigger thumb drives I find, and it was a pro for me to break it off entirely, because it would have broken off eventually. But not worth a egg, half an egg really.

Other Thoughts: If you want supreme overclocking, change out the stock fans, if not they aren't that bad.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Case Incredible Value

Pros: Very well built and strong case, for an all aluminum construction. The removable MOBO tray is top notch and makes building a new machine a pleasure. There are also a lot of custom mods available for Lian-Li, although not here on the Egg. The fit and finish of this case is superb, with no rough edges. When the unit is on Promotion, it makes an unbeatable value. There are cases here that are twice as much, but not as nice as this case. It is still a very classy and elegant design.

Cons: The design is getting a little dated. I do like the Hard drive cage being removable, but it is not as nice as some of the newer "tool less" designs. Can be a little tight with two large Video Cards, but it is a Mid Tower. I do replace the stock fans with Aerocool Turbine units for better airflow.

Other Thoughts: This Lian-Li PC-60BPlusII is the third one I have purchased in the past two years. I see no reason right now to buy anthing else, and I will continue to buy these as long as they are available. Just top notch! You could do a lot worse and pay a lot more money for less case then this.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality At A Great Price

Pros: Extremely well built in every way. The aluminum it is made out of is thick and durable but not heavy. The slide-able motherboard tray is a huge help and i love the side fan. It comes with many optional accessories like the PSU fan duct. I don't know how much it would actually help but i keep it on simply for aesthetic purposes. This case is amazing.

Cons: I have heard other people say it is fingerprinty and although this is true i don't find it easily scratchable. One small problem i had was in installing a different 80mm blowhole fan. the case comes with 4 black flathead screws which screw in the original fan. I stripped these and I ended up just using 4 silver screws. Not a big deal and i can always buy more screws.

Other Thoughts: Buy this case.

5 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: makes a nice system, removable mobo tray a big plus, good quality

Cons: not enough air flow for an i7

Other Thoughts: if you're considering an i7 processor, better to get a case with 120mm fans than the two 120s and two 80s in this case

Intel i7 920, w/Noctua NH U12P CPU Cooler
ASUS P6T Deluxe
Corsair Dominator 3 x 2 (1600Mhz)
EVGA GeForce GTX 260
Seagate 72 GB 15K rpm SAS drives (2 x RAID 1)
WD 1 TB 7200 rpm (3)
LG DVD RAM (2)

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: As a tech i work with all kind of cases, and brands of pre built computers. This is by far the best case i have ever came across. I'm now one of Lian Li's biggest fans.
I love the removable mobo tray, and how the PSU can be removed with thumb screws. All in all this case is top notch.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Light weight, heavy built. I'm willing to bet you could drop this out of a two story window and it hold together.

4 out of 5 eggsLian Li

Pros: Nice looking. Lots of room. Top fan mount is a plus. Very sturdy. Stays cool. I love the movable fan mounted to the side panel. Their additional product accessories look nice.

Cons: The HD-Audio cable is too short and does not reach the switch on my motherboard! I am about to contact them about a replacement. This is more of an annoyance than anything.

5 out of 5 eggsLian Li rocks!

Pros: This is my 2nd 60BPLUSII and it is incredible. Light and very subtle. I replaced the top 80MM fan with 2 X 120MM fans to further improve ventilation (had to buy a different top panel that has the cutouts for the dual fan set up) and used silicone gaskets on all the fans and power supply to lower the decibles.

You don't have to mod this case, but since Lian Li gives you such a great platform for mods, why not.

I'm running an evga 780i MOBO with two 9800 GT's in an SLI config. It's kinda tight, but I moved my 2 HDD's in the 5.25" slots above my optical drives and took off the HDD cage to have better circulation for the video cards.

My board temp is under 80 F and my Northbridge is under 110 F.

The mid tower case is perfect under my desk compared to the full tower Dell XPS 600 I had before.

I'll never buy anything but Lian Li!

Cons: Front panel hook-ups are too short to pull the mother board out w/o disconecting the USB, Firwire, HD Audio and power switch
