Lian Li Fine Craftmanship Product
The new internal layout has the motherboard on top of the power supply unit, which allows for easier access to the motherboard as well as more room above, thus larger CPU coolers can be used. The power supply unit at the button of the case is cooled with fresh cool air directly from the outside of the case, instead of pre-heated air from within. This will bring down the core temperatures and extend the lifespan of the PSU significantly.

The new PC-7FN is a mid-tower case, which is ideal for the latest graphics cards in combination with the best thermal dynamics.Easily adjustable to optimize your hardware setup. Especially in the advent of adding in new graphics cards, equipped with 8 PCI slots, can hold three or more graphics cards, supports CrossfireX and 3-way SLI

Pros: This case had big enough space for E760 and GTX 460, very quiet and cool. tis case is very light, and I lift it up with one finger.

5 out of 5 eggsWell Done

Pros: Easy to install componets, very cool and very quiet. I'd recommend this case to anyone except people I don't like.

Cons: A bit squirrely trying to turn the HD frames around.

2 out of 5 eggsOdd Man Out - Would not buy again

Pros: Aluminum is light and transfers heat well.
Fans are quiet

Cons: Case is not rigid
Case was put together slopp
Bad value considering cost and quality

Other Thoughts: js

I have an eight year old Lian Li that I rudely interrupt others to brag about on a regular basis. It's is amazing in contrast to other offerings at that time. This case was a big disappointment for me at 119 dollars with shipping.

With the sides off, if I put my fingers at the top left and bottom right and apply a slight spreading force, I can see the 5.25 bay deflect on the order of .125 of an inch! I only did this because it

it I compared it to my old case which is rock solid. What it looks like is they don't attach the top very well so that it can be unscrewed for options. With the sides it's ok, but my case is obviously flexabile and that really disappoints me.

I also noticed that the feet are stick on. My old case had screws holding the feet on. My cheaper cases have screws holding the feet on.

I took the front cover off and noticed that all four fan screws were incredibly tight, but the fan was able to move around. I removed and reinstalled the screws a

4 out of 5 eggsgreat case..quiet but a little hot!

Pros: This is my 3rd case from Lian Li..build quality and fit/finish are exceptional. The supplied fans are pretty low RPM so they are nice and quiet but move a fair amount of air through the case. I bought this case because my old case was LOUD and with the PSU at the top of the case it was getting cooked pretty good. To the point where I thought failure would be imminent. This case helps keep your power supply nice and frosty!

Cons: My ONLY complaint with this case is that with a high end video card, a lot of heat tends to pile up in the top of the case after you have been playing games or really cranking on your system for a while. Either the fan in the back is not flowing enough air, or possibly they really expected you to get the optional top for this case with the fan in it (T-LM24B-2) kinda disappointed by that. Still happy with the purchase, but I wish I would have ordered a version with the fan in the top.

Other Thoughts: This case is great for general use, if you were going to do some water cooling setup I imagine it would be perfect. However, with a high end video card (or 2) and air cooled CPU the hot pocket of air at the top of the case could be problematic.

The quick release drive trays felt a little flimsy at first..but once you get drives in them (optical and hdd's) they actually work really well, like them a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Lian Li

Pros: Light, so light I almost expected it to flex, but it did not.
Well thought out for most builds.
Flexible, adaptable for most other builds.
PSU on the bottom a must.
Able to route cables from PSU (and others) behind mobo, including the aux Mobo power, big plus.
Cooled sufficiently on air with the stock two fans, big surprise, see other thoughts.
Lots of 5.25" external bays.
Many OEM options to upgrade, modify as needed for cooling, etc.
8 slots for expansion cards, nice for slot coolers.
Oh! it would be no problemo to put one of those big (long) new power supplies in here, all kind of room!
Power Supply sucks air right from the bottom, very nice!
There is a screen mesh on the bottom too, pics dont show it.

Cons: No vent over expansion card area, would have been nice.
Blue LED on the front fan, personal preference.
They need to start thinking about 2.5" drive integration.
Isolation of the PSU area is a good idea, but a wash as it makes installs harder.

Other Thoughts: Been gong with Antec cases for a while, now that the Lian Li's are a lot better price wise, this was an excellent switch.
I was able to cool everything with the two stock fans to satisfaction, but did ad a Scythe Kama-Bay to my extra 3x5.25" bays. At 100% load stock, 96f cpu 110f video.
With kama-bay 85f cpu 98f video. And it is soooo quiet, you hear almost zip until the video card fan kicks in at load, even then just a nice quiet wooosh.
Setup:
Lian Li PC-7FN case
ThermalTake TR2 750M PSU
Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6 MoBo
Intel Q9400 (OC to 3.2 ghz)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro cpu cooler
4x 2gb Kingston HyperX DDR2-800 CL5
Sapphire VaporX HD5770 Video Card
LG Super-Multi DVD/CD R/W
Ultra MD3 Dashboard multi-use bay device
Scythe kama-bay 120mm intake fan bay adapter.
2x WD 300gb velociraptors (raid 1)

I reconstituted most of the parts from several systems, and added a new case and video card (on a budget), and ended up with a nice quiet system, with enough power to power g

Pros: This case is quality, no doubt about it. Very spiffy way of latching in the hard drives and optical drives. Best case I've ever seen. Would buy another.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsgood looking, good quality

Pros: top of the shelf quality
the edges of the aluminum case are handled very well
really like the ODD and HDD bracket
a lot of custom choice of side/top panels with either window or mesh vent from lianli, so you can customize the cooling system however you want

Cons: maybe I was just unlucky. Got one with a scratch mark on the front bezel. Chatted with newegg service and within 1 min got it resolved

Other Thoughts: really like lianli+newegg

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: - Excellent Quality
- Very sturdy and solid build
- Excellent Cable management. Has lot of room and slots to run wires behind the mother board.
- Power button is on the top
- The front panel is removable and very sturdy.
- 3.5 inch convertor in the 5 inch bay is very sturdy and easy to manage
- Both of the side panels are removable
- HDD bay is solid and has the front fan cooling the drives
- PCI and PCI express secure very solidly to the case

Cons: - Large fans are difficult to manuver and had little room to clamp down the Zalman fan onto the CPU. Had to remove the exhaust fan and install the fan
- HDD bay is front facing

5 out of 5 eggsSlick Looking

Pros: Lian Li cases are top shelf. Nice open design with plenty of hardware and all the Lian Li extras (shock proof HD cages, quick release DVD,etc bays)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I like a flat black case with as few LEDs and bling as one can get, however the blue front case fan provides a nice look with out being over the top.
