Antec does it again! The Solo offers maximum room for your drives without resorting to a full sized tower. It boasts room for a staggering four internal 3.5" drives. Not content there, it integrates four 5.25" external drives by removing the rarely used 3.5" external bays. If you want any of the external bays to be 3.5", a simple adaptor can be used to seamlessly convert them. Naturally, it includes two USB ports, a Firewire port, and two audio ports located on the front of the case for easy access. Made with the toughness of steel, yet you will have no worry about accidental cuts or scrapes as all edges have been folded over to prevent that dangerous razor sharpness.
The tray supports all standard ATX Motherboards up to 12" x 9.6", with 7 PCI expansion slots in the back. The system comes with a 120mm adjustable speed TriCool fan to be used in the back of the system.

A GREAT "Silent" Case.
- Pros: Very solid and quiet. No fragile door covering the drives or switches. Flush front USB ports. Great finish and style. No sharp edges inside or out. Very good cooling. Really quiet and easy to use "bungee cord" hard drive mounts. Easier to access cleanable air filter. A pretty blue light that's not excessively bright. "Choose your own" PSU keeps cost down.
- Cons: Heavy. Not inexpensive. The swing-away front cover isn't quite perfect.
- Other Thoughts: A worthy successor to the Sonata, this case addresses all of my pet Sonata peeves namely: the drive door that's always in the way, the recessed front USB ports and the piercing blue "power" lights.
It's just slightly larger than a Sonata, fits an Abit AW8 (a full-size ATX board), ATI x1900 (a large and hot VGA card), 3 hard drives (in the bungee mounts) and keeps it all cool and quiet using an S12 series Seasonic PSU and Arctic Cooling VGA and CPU coolers. Somewhat less cramped inside than a Sonata. The exact same case is available in White. The white one is called the P150 and comes with a PSU.
Fantastic
- Pros: Fantastically well built case. I love it. It's very pretty and very well put together. Would recommend it to anyone.
- Cons: Power button design is pretty crummy and broke, but some model glue fixed it right up.
- Other Thoughts: I would recommend this case to anyone, any time, anywhere. It's very nice to look at, elegant, and is really well designed and built.

A freakin pleasure to work with
- Pros: Attractive
Easy to work with Lots of spare nuts and etc.
- Cons: No access to "rear" of mobo. Had to remove the mobo to install bracket for cpu cooler, but this is probably normal.
Pretty, Solid construction and Quiet
- Pros: Elegant looking, quality layout, nice cable mgmt area behind 3.5" drive bay. Vibration elimination via silicon drive mounts apparently overlooked by reviewers who complain of hanging mount option.
- Cons: No PSU, but I always put in aftermarket power any way.
Silver face is not as pretty as rest of finish, but a non-issue for me. It is a Mid Tower (READ THE DOC), so take whiners with a grain a salt with respect to Full Length Video complaints. I have installed dual GT260s with no issue, other than it reduces lower 3.5" drive bay count by 1. With current huge drive capacitiess, who cares?
- Other Thoughts: I love this case... I've built about 30 systems in it. IF the video card clearance were 1" greater, I'd be thrilled. Most compaints are about video card lnth issues, or the On/Off button breaking off. I use 2 macines w/ this case at home every day, 1000s of power cycles, and never had an issue, so I wonder how others are turning on their systems. with a hammer?
Pretty Nice Case
- Pros: Solid, looks nice, easy to work in. The front ports all worked flawlessly with my motherboard. Since the case is so solid and even has some extra plastic on the inside, it keeps the noise down pretty well. Nice looking blue power and HDD lights.
- Cons: The included fan is the loudest part of my system (although, it's still really quiet, so maybe this is not really a con).
- Other Thoughts: I definitely recommend this case. It's not too expensive, it looks good, and it's quiet.
