OverviewCustomer ReviewSpecificationsProduct Tour
Antec combines size, quality, features and low price to deliver the ultimate gaming case. The smallest of Antec’s “Hundred” series designed for the Do-It-Yourself gamer, it is equipped to deal with the increased heat output of high-performance systems as well as providing a flexible design to best suit your needs. Its overall matt-black finish shows that you – and your system – mean business.

The front panel includes a pair of USB 2.0 inputs as well as jacks for a headphone and microphone. The front bezel is perforated for maximum air intake and it has a washable filter to reduce dust within the system. Inside, are a total of nine drive bays – six 3.5” internal HDD’s and a trio of 5.25” external drives. Seven expansion card slots let you load up on graphic and other options up to – and including – a full height ATX motherboard. A rear-mounted 120mm TriCool fan as well as a top-mounted 140mm TriCool fan – both with 3-speed switch control – draw air through the case.

In addition, there's space for an additional pair of 120mm fans behind the front bezel to cool the HDD’s as well as the option to mount a third 120mm fan on the side of the case to cool the GPU. If you’d rather put your money into what goes inside the case rather than the case itself, the Antec Three Hundred is for you.

Awesome case, but check sizes!

Pros: 6 internal HDD bays, 4 places for 120mm fans, plus bigger top fan. Bottom PSU.
Cons: Length is a little shallow, but then again, the RAID card I purchased is huge - 12.3" long. I had to cut into the HDD area for it to fit. The other thing is that 38mm deep fans will not fit in the front fan spots, you need 25mm deep fans.

Spend a little more for a great case

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: - Affordable for a basic system build
- Includes two good quality Antec fans with 3-way speed control
- Fits microATX and ATX MBs.
- No bright indicator lights or fancy LEDs
- Washable air filter
Cons: - The power button feels a little cheap.
- Reset button is impossible to use but who uses this anyway?
- Quiet, but not as much as I prefer – much quieter than I expected
- Cheap paint
- No rubber grommets for
Other Thoughts: This case is a good value if you can find it for $50 shipped. I purchased this for an office desktop PC. It ran fairly quiet but the front grill and 140mm fan on top made it a bit too noisy for me. I was replacing a 5 year old Dell and the Dell was far quieter. The biggest problem for me was the lack of rubber grommets for the hard drive enclosure which seemed to add a lot of vibration and noise to the case. I ended up returning this case and purchasing the Antec Sonata III which I’m extremely happy with. This case is to be very basic, but what else do you expect for $50?

If you like Antec, buy the Sonata III - it includes the power supply, looks much nicer, is a better quality case, and is nearly silent.

Fantastic Case

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: This is a great case for you typical desktop system. I build 10-15 desktop workstations for small businesses each year and this is the best case I have worked with so far.

- Bottom mount PSU seems easier to run cables neatly
- Drive shelf quickly comes out and the quick snap tools allow you to mount 2 or 3 drives in seconds
- Additional fan locations in the front of the drives is accessed through the front panel, so you don't have to pull drives out to add fans
- Because of the bottom PSU location, there is a 140mm fan on the top of the case. Really gives good airflow to the cpu.

What else can I say, Antec is the best.
Cons: Not sure I like the Top mount fan, but it really seems to keep the system temp down. Would be bad if you knocked over your pop into it!
Other Thoughts: I have used all sorts of cases from Raidmax to Rosewill to CoolerMaster and none of them compare to Antec

Pros: Awesome cooling with only 2 fans. Keeps my Phenom II X4 945 Deneb between 23 ~ C(Idle) and 35 ~C(Load -- highest temp I've seen so far) with only the 2 fans(Set to High) + PSU fan. Even with the fans set on high the noise is tolerable, sounds like an AC unit that is set on low(closest comparison I could think of).Lots of thumbscrews.... about ... 15+. Nice hiding hole for cables not in use / cable slack, tons of places to zip tie cables down. Easy setup, no sharp edges.
Cons: Can't attach the fans to the Mobo for auto-control, have to open the case if I wish to change fanspeed; still, it's better than a one speed fits all. Makes my legs cold... this thing is under my desk and it moves enough air to make me use a blanket at night (not really a con though, I guess). No buffers/rubber vibration absorbers for the 3.5"/5.25" racks. When the DVD drive spins up I can feel it in the floor and it's almost as loud as a vacuum (very minor con, a couple 5 cent rubber washers solves this). Blue led power button :/, I know it's silly to list this as a con but I like red and had planned on putting in 2x 120mm Red LED fans on the front... that blue led ruins it... not sure if i feel like stripping that part of the case to replace a tiny blue led with a red one.
Other Thoughts: Don't have a video card worth mentioning in the case at the moment, however at load it keeps my MSI OC 8500 256(no-auxillary 6/8 pin) at a steady 50 C idle and 59 C peak on load. Planning to add 3 more 120x120x25mm fans to this guy, figure that if I add 2 intakes at the front and put them on medium (and add a side exhaust) that I could keep the top/rear/side exhausts on low and get the same or nearly enough cooling while lowering the net noise level.

Pros: Great case. Plenty of room.
Cons: No front 120 fans.
Other Thoughts: It would be nice if it came with at least one front case fan. Cheap enough to add though and worth the cost I think.

I liked the case so much I picked up another when it was on sale just to toss in the closet for my next build down the road. ;)
