The case is constructed from 0.8mm cold rolled steel and the contemporary brushed black metal finish will look great with any entertainment center.

Also, the rear panel provides four expansion slots for all of your media peripherals.
The front panel display features an IR receiver and LCD that works with media center applications. The receiver is compatible with Windows Media Center and Vista. Great HTPC Design and Silent
- Pros: Everything works flawlessly with the case, VFD, Volume Knob, Silence. Like I said, this case makes for a great HTPC, it blends in with the receiver I have and also the Plasma and rack it is on. Unit looks great and is built very sturdy. The included software worked flawlessly but was outdated, updated to the new software and you guessed it.. worked flawlessly yet again.
Have been doing PC and HTPC builds for many years and this was a very pleasurable design to work with. Loads of room under the hood and excellent rubber straps for handy and neat cable management all while promoting great airflow.
Lastly, the case is extremely silent. With the computer on and browsing the web or watching blu-ray movies you can never hear it, even at 2 feet from the unit you have to have your ear right up to it to hear any noise at all. Uses Antec Tri-cool fans to exhaust air out of the right side.
Overall I am very pleased with the unit and will recommend it to customers.
- Cons: The optical drive mount can be trouble at times as certain optical drives have different mounting holes or positions which do not allow it to mount withing range of the push button on the front. This causes you to not be able to truely push the button on the front. Problem was remedied by using a different optical drive, but is something that you should know.
- Other Thoughts: Used to house a Quad Core HTPC running at 3.0ghz with 4 gigs or RAM and a 9800GT. Works flawless and stays silent at the same time.
Highly recommended
Very Nice
- Pros: Easy to install. LCD works very well. Remote is solid. Nice cover for the cdrom. Good anti-vibration padding. Easy running of cables.
- Cons: Can't connect up the LCD/IR and the power switch at the same time. IR reciever has a somewhat narrow recieve window. Manual in horid. Somewhat shallow PSU area.
- Other Thoughts: I Used this as my MythTV fronend box. It works well. I was able to configure lirc and the LCD panel easily. I have not tired getting the wheel working yet, but then I have not tried. It works well. I would like the Remote to be back-lit but that is minor. I will buy this for my next MythFrontend.

Second Case
- Pros: This is the second case I'm using to build an HTPC. First one is upstairs on a 40"LCD and has the following components:
- AMD Phenom II X2 550 - Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H - 4G Patriot memory - 750GB WD Sata - LG Blu-ray player/cd-dvd burner - BFG 450W Power supply - Scythe low profile CPU cooler - Hauppage HVR-2250 TV-tuner OS is windows 7
Second unit will go downstairs for my 96" screen. Pretty much the same components, Just a different TV tuner card and processor. Also with Win 7
All from Newegg.
- Cons: None, love these cases.
Very Nice
- Pros: Solid case. Well built. 120mm fans have speed selector switches, set to low you can't here them.
The remote is nice, I use it for turning the system on and off. Still need to set up the rest of the functions. Software works with windows 7.
- Cons: None so-far.
- Other Thoughts: The front display is nothing fancy. Still working (learning) on what I can use it for.
Nice!
- Pros: - looks
- price - great remote - LCD offers plenty of features - 2x 120mm fan are QUIET! - HDD cage with silicon/rubber bumpers to prevent vibration/noise work well.
- Cons: - somewhat simplistic manual.
- the DVD-Rom front cover open/close button is purely mechanical. You press that button and it (should) connect with the drive button behind it. Mine did not line up perfectly with my BD-RW's. I ended up inserting a small piece of cardboard at the back of the case open/close button to actually connect with the device button. It works. - (personal preference) I would've prefered a cover for the front USB/Audio connectors. I'm being picky, I know. - hmmm (scatch of the head)... that's it.
- Other Thoughts: - when using HDMI to send sound/image to TV, volume cant be adjusted from included remote (you have to use the tv remote - if you dont have an universal remote). I understand that this is a HDMI feature and not a remote issue.
- along with the AMD Phenom II X4 905e Deneb 2.5GHz (stock fan), the only real noise comes from my BD-RW. Very impressed so far.
