Proving that a standard mid-sized tower isn't the same as an obsolete tower, Antec's SLK 1650B comes to bat. Housing three 5.25" and two 3.5" external drive bays, it hasn’t forgotten the internal hard drives that are so necessary today, leaving space for three 3.5" internal drives. It also gives easy access to the ports for two of your USB 2.0 devices up front.
This case makes cooling a literal breeze. It comes with one 120mm fan located in the rear of the case for exhaust, a side vent for your CPU, and a vent in the front that can easily be converted to house an additional van. This causes a constant cooling cross breeze over all your sensitive equipment, protecting them from the ravages of heat. The SLK 1650B supports ATX Motherboards 12" x 9.6" or smaller, with 7 PCI expansion slots in the rear. To set it above the rest, this case is made of steel to stand up with the bumps and grinds of day to day living.

Decent case, bad power suppy
- Pros: Quiet case, 120mm exhaust fan, near-silent power supply
- Cons: 1. SP-350 power supply failed after 12 months in 3 of 9 cases purchased.
2. You have to remove the top panel, then pull the sides up to remove them, which can be difficult in cramped areas.
great case and psu combo
- Pros: great layout with plenty of room for drives. the 120mm fan makes for much better (and quieter) exhaust than those little 80mm fans. the air duct helps keep my cpu at a healthy temp all the time.
this is my second antec case, and i don't intend to buy any other brand for my own personal use because they have reliable power supplies and are incredibly sturdy (i'm not afraid to stand on top of my case, and i weigh 175lbs).
- Cons: i'm not sure about other motherboards, but the air duct doesn't line up perfectly with my cpu.

Excellent value case
- Pros: Great value, makes great Core 2 Duo systems, adequate cooling for stock CPU speeds, good drive mounting, clean looking
- Cons: Can get too crowded with too many cables/expansion cards, air duct for CPU not so cool, PSU average
- Other Thoughts: Some people may prefer more front-end inputs (USB, etc.), i added a in-blowing front fan and replaced PSU, it's a great value case
Good Case - Terrible PSU
- Pros: I like the design and air flow, space is a little cramped but well within working range. Very durable design (w/ exception to side panels just be careful when removing).
- Cons: The PSU is horrible. I had a SP-350 that came with this case fail in 1 year, the replacement failed in less than 6 months. Also had an Antec SP-400 fail in 1 year time. Antec has lost it's charm in that department.
- Other Thoughts: I came back to Newegg to buy this case again for a client project with the intentions of replacing the PSU. To my suprise the price has been jacked from $60 to $85 suggesting that someone is trying to reap undue reward for a decent case with a shotty PSU.
- Pros: As usual I made the right choice with Antec and Newegg. Plenty of room and easy to install all components.
- Cons: None really.
