Who says cutting edge cool has to be expensive? The Thermaltake SOPRANO VB1000BWS will destroy that notion! This affordable case doesn't need any fancy words to show its edge of cool. One picture is more than enough. But don't think this is just another pretty face. With four external 5.25" drive bays, two 3.5" external drive bays, and five internal 3.5" drive bays, this case has room for whatever you need of it.
The Thermaltake SOPRANO VB1000BWS features two 120mm fans: one at the rear and one in the front as well as a 90mm side fan for maximized air flow to make sure the heat from this system is just from its looks. The transparent X-type side panel window lets you have a direct view of the system while it is working for eye-catching fun.
With all this, what more could you want? This could indeed be the total package you've been looking for.

She's a beaut
- Pros: This case is very nice looking as of most other cases by thermaltake. The case paint is very nice and pretty durable. Seems pretty sturdy, very nice metal folding inside. The fans that come with it prerform well for the noise level.
- Cons: The screwless mountings are a little goofy but work very well. The paint is durable to general abuse but isn't finger print resistant so upkeep is mildly high if you want it to look it's best.
- Other Thoughts: I'd say this is a very good for general perpose. For lan parties it is a little heavy and would need cleaning off finger prints but its a nice looking box.
nice case, few cons
- Pros: Large window, solid construction, great airflow. You might not want to bother with the tool-less PCI stuff, I locked my graphics card in, slid the case under my desk, powered it up.. then the next time I went into my case it had came un-done. Lots of room though.
- Cons: Heavy, USB and headphone jacks on top are kind of inconvenient. Locking system isn't 100% effective.
- Other Thoughts: If you're pc is in a cheap case you bought for under $xx, upgrading to this case or one like it is a great idea.

not the best
- Pros: plenty of space for cards and HDD. quiet fans. openig front panel is useful for installing drives.
- Cons: plastic front door is annoying at best, being re-purposed as a dust collector in my closet. came with faulty power button which drove me crazy tearing my computer apart trying to figure out why it wasn't starting. top I/O sound port not working for some unknown reason. metal bar in the middle makes installing the mobo and PSU a pain.
- Other Thoughts: for $80 i expected a bit more from this case, especially from a brand like Thermaltake.
Great Case
- Pros: SOLID! Heavy, rolled steal, no screws needed. Fans are quiet, lots of room, much bigger than most mid-ATX cases. It has a front fan filter. The USB and 1394 ports are on the top of the case, not the front. The PCI slots in the back are not punch outs, they can be put back in. THIS CASE DOES NOT HAVE LAME LEDS EVERWHERE, which when you grow up as a pc builder, you tend to stay away from that garbage.
- Cons: Have fun putting the PSU in the case if you have the mobo in already. If you have an aftermarket heatsync for your proc, its almost inpossible. I scratched up my new 750 watt, trying to get it in, eventually i had to take the heatsync off of the proc to get it in. The USB/1394/headphone ports are a little cheap. It contradicts itself, everything else it very high quality except for this.
- Other Thoughts: I really like this case and i reccommend this to anyone.
- Pros: Great looking case, i love the tool less design and i do like the usb on the top of the case.
- Cons: it is a little heavy but i dont move it much so its okay
