Choose a different case
- Pros: Small lightweight case.
- Cons: Flimsy, no manual, no washers, terrible power supply.
- Other Thoughts: dissapointing case. Newegg support handled my rma and has done an excellent job. Time to find a better product on the site.
-
sticky stuff
- Pros: as mentioned in previous review
- Cons: my only con was the sticky stuff Apevia puts on the windows to keep from scratching the panels. It is applied to both sides of all 3 panels. Protects well but kind of tough to get off. Real sticky but I live in FL. Maybe the heat during transport did it??
- Other Thoughts: Still love the case
Good little case
- Pros: Nice light mATX case with support for most single/Double slot large video cards. I use an EVGA 8800GTS.
Easy to Mod, Aluminum panels and sections are thin and easy to cut.
Enough spare room to add a Water cooling Rig, mod in extra fans, and add in some lights (use small CC's or LEDs)
120mm fan is very quiet
Wires are long enough to route out of the way, or cut to your desired length.
Paint is durable and does not show fingerprints.
- Cons: Power Supply is decent, but needs some more wattage/replaced when used with higher end components, or just filling the case with what it can hold.
I just installed the video card mentioned above and even with just 1 hdd running the power supply overheats and shuts down the machine. Granted the Supply was not designed for a beastly PCIe graphics card like mine, but it would be nice if it was.
While i like the fact that i can remove the cover with just 3 screws, i wish it had been either 3 seperate panels or made with thicker material as it tends to bend a bit. I've been pretty rough with this case so i can't really complain though since it's held up to the abuse fairly well.
Large Video cards can block the (stock)power supply fan.
No dust filters, no intake fan. must be modded for proper ventilation of higher end components.
- Other Thoughts: Case seems a bit flimsy out of the box. However once you load it up with goodies, the components actually make up a portion of the structure of the case which strengthens it.
I Wish the power Supply was a little beefier, but overall i'm pretty satisfied with it for most entry level pc builds.
Would have been nice to have been made of some thicker parts, but it does keep the weight down.
