Incorporating a high-airflow design and with ample storage capacity, the NZXT LEXA is a screw-less, ultra-light aluminum case suitable for high-end usage. The front plastic panel of the enclosure has a reflective metallic finish, and sports an illuminated LCD display that monitors the system’s core components via readings from three thermal probes.
To ensure quiet cooling operations, it has two 120mm blue LED fans, one at the rear and another at the side. In addition, it has one 120mm fan in the front and one 80mm fan at the top. The case also has removable dust filters that prevent dust from entering the system. For enhanced storage capacity, it has four external 5.25" drive bays, two external 3.5" drive bays, and five internal 3.5" drive bays.
The chassis has two USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire, and audio ports along with a headphone jack at the rear end. Available in a black/silver finish, it includes a Carrying Strap. It measures 22.4" x 8.6"x 20.6" (D x W x H), and weighs 5.8 kgs.

Buy it for looks
- Pros: The case looks great. There are a lot of little things that are nice with the case. For instance, the ergonomics of the case are nice - easy to open, pickup, and open the drive door. The case is very light even when loaded with components. The carry strap quality is very good. It includes protectors so the plastics parts do not touch or scratch the case. The fans are super quiet. Plenty of cooling for HDDs and other components. It is easy to read the tempature display which shows 3 tempatures (CPU, HDD, SYS (SYS is whatever you want)).
- Cons: As some other reviewers pointed out, the case material is fragile. Since the case came with a carry strap and is meant for transport, the case material should have been designed a little sturdier so it can be transported safer when in a car. The wiring for the lights and connectors could have been an inch longer. The reset switch wire barely reaches the pins on my MoBo; but it does reach. The case does not include a speaker as far as I can tell. Maybe the cable fell into the front of the case? I do not see a cut-out for the speaker either. The tempature display is nice, but only monitors tempature in Celcius. Also, the display does not show fan speeds. The clear panel should have included a protective sheet from the manufacturer over it during shipping. Also, it would be nice if the panel fan wire was designed to wrap around the panel so the wire does not dangle and is not exposed. Also, that wire should have a quick-release ability when you want to remove side the panel.
- Other Thoughts: The ads were a little unclear to me, so let me detail some of the things the ads left out. Two of the fans have blue LED's. That's enough light and you won't need additional lighting. There is a quick-release bar that secures all of your PCI cards in rather than having to screw each one in. But, I still installed my cards in just to be safe and did not use the bar (still a neat idea). The carrying case has a large mesh pocket which could be used for CD's, manuals, or cheat-sheets. There are four included fans. A lighted 120 mm on the back, lighted 120 mm on the clear side, 80mm fans in the front and top. You can install an additional 80mm fan on the bottom. If I had a bottom fan, I personally would re-install the top fan upside-down to push hot air out of the case. The case aborbs all of the sound of my components - it's so quiet it's hard to tell if the computer is on if you don't look at the lights.
very purty :D
- Pros: -Like the title says "very purty". Brushed aluminum and candy black paint look FANTASTIC. Round front and back provide a very sleek look, I have this in the living room as a HTPC so looks was important to me.
-Quiet. The default fans are great and really quiet. There are 3 x 120mm and 1 x 80 mm. Individually the fans dont move much air, but thats why they are so quiet, it comes with such large and so many fans however that airflow isn't a problem unless ur doing serious overclocking. In which case would buy nice but noisy delta or sunon fans anywayz. -Light. This thing is about as heavy as a luchbox when its empty. While setting up the build, I was lifting it with one hand and raising it over my head. Great to impress girls and friends with your super-human strength. -All the aluminum edges are nicely rounded. I didn't get cut once doing a somewhat complex and tight fitting watercooling installation. -The front door is held magnetically, much cooler than the cheapo plastic latches
- Cons: -The default fans are clear with four BRIGHT blue LEDs each. If you like this kinda thing then move this comment up to the PROS section above. I used a wire cutter to cut the power leads to the LEDs so now they are just clear.
-The finish is very easy to get dirty with fingerprints and such. Nothing a little lint free cloth wont take care of. I also reccomend carnuba wax, "car wax". Keeps it a little cleaner and maintains its luster. - I couldn't believe this thing didnt come with some kind of lint free polishing cloth. I got one from the AutoZone down the street less the five bucks :D . -if your watercooling there isn't too many places you can mount a radiator (back of the case is no good) unless you mod it. -These are really CONS im just nitpicking :D
- Other Thoughts: Great build it was very easy to work with because Aluminum was so thick, durable and light. Gosh this thing is pretty. There is plenty of room for standard installations and lots of Drive Bay space for hard drives and such such but if your doing water cooling, definitely have a plan to mod or be willing to mount radiator to the window, which I doesn't look as good.

Great Case
- Pros: Temperature display on top and in front, plenty of fans for the non-gaming PC, awesome lighting, convenient hardware moutning. Love the case!
- Cons: Fingerprints are easy to leave on the top and sides.
- Other Thoughts: Comes with a carrying harness??? I think this tower is too big for something to carry around.
this case is like a beautiful person
- Pros: it is very shiny
- Cons: but it expects you to know exactly how it wants to be treated and to act accordingly
- Other Thoughts: manual totally sucked. very few pictures and confusing written instructions. i pried off 3 of the rear slot plates with a flathead screwdriver like they were tuna can tops before i figured out how the "screwless" fastener worked.
i took computer science in college but i don't assemble rigs for a living. it's pretty tough to follow instructions when there aren't any.
Decent case, excellent support
- Pros: Roomy, easy to work with, quiet, excellent support (see below). Air filter has kept the system significantly more free of dust than other systems in the same location.
Purchased based on other reviews, and still agree with them.
- Cons: Lights too bright. Front USB connector at bottom is inconvenient. Temperature sensors & front display of marginal use.
- Other Thoughts: I saw the 1 year warranty and put this on a credit card that added a year. Two years and two weeks after purchase, the top fan and front display failed. I emailed NZXT support expecting a purchase price for replacement parts - instead, they just sent the parts as if under warranty. It's all working now. YMMV.
