1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: looks good, 2x case fans. newegg shipped quickly.

Cons: front plate pins were all broken off. leaving no way for front plate to attach making this case useless.

Other Thoughts: hoping newegg gets a replacement here quick. that is the last part i need for this new build.

5 out of 5 eggsWow!! and tool-less!!

Pros: Plenty of room with up to 7 fans allow me to run systems that would normally hot in other cases. Quiet and REAL sturdy, not flimsy like others I have built or owned. Would highly recommend this case to anyone building a system with either E-sata or fire-wire. Plan on buying a couple more for builds.

Cons: No power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD CASE!!

Pros: Great case.. looks awesome and also arrived a day early, so thats always a bonus. case has great airflow and also looks sharp. AND the case is fairly cheap.. There was no damage to it at all.

Cons: Wish it would have came with a manual to explain how to take everything off like front plate and ect. Its my first build so im new at this. So its maybe my fault.

Other Thoughts: Great Case, Great Price, I recommend to buy if your low on cash.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good budget case. Does what it's suppose to. I like that it can have 4-80mm & 1-120mm fans w/o modding. All the case has to do is hold the parts without cooking them. I modded the front for better air flow. Thinking about adding an additional blow hole on top of case.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Not my 1st build - have done about 20, some with minor case mods.

2 out of 5 eggsStatic shock can kill motherboard!

Pros: Cheap, looks pretty slick, easy to install and remove parts.

Cons: I've killed two motherboards now by shocking the 'on button' via static electricity. At first I didn’t believe it, but the day after I installed my new motherboard I shocked the 'on button' yet again ... dead motherboard. I would have saved money by buying a better quality case.

Other Thoughts: At first I thought the two fans on the side of the case would give great airflow, but unfortunately that 'great airflow' is turbulent and plays havoc with the flow of other cooling fans. You’re better off removing any fans from the side of your case.

5 out of 5 eggsBest cheap case with a window

Pros: This is the least expensive case I could find with a window, and I'd purchased one (blue) a few years back, which I was very happy with as well. The case is very sturdy, unlike a lot of other cheap cases where the metal is flimsy-thin. All the room of a basic ATX style case, no sharp edges, comes with 2 decent fans and has plenty of hard drive space.

Fan setup is a little different than most cases with intake in the front, exhaust in the back. The side fans are by default exhaust, which sucks the air out from the bottom and doesn't work that well. Simply reversing them and adding two 80's on the back for exhaust instead. I actually found this works pretty good because it blows directly under the video card and on the hard drives.

Cons: Other than having to reverse the case fans, none.

Other Thoughts: Very simple, but pretty case. Doesn't feel cheap for the price, and woo! it has a window.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: I own the blue version of this case. It looks great, is set up well for cable management, and has stayed cool enough for my non-overclocking needs.

Cons: The side fans are LOUD. If you put it on the floor facing away from you, it's not as bad. But the small fans generate quite a bit of noise

Other Thoughts: Not sure if the blame is to the case or the MSI motherboard, but the Power LED pins have a gap between them and there's no gap on my mobo, so I can't utilize the Power LED. The good news is, the fans are so loud I have no trouble telling whether this PC is on or not.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: This is arguably the best case that newegg has to offer. The price is low, it's construction is solid and it's straight forward, uncomplicated looks are still some of the best around. I'v built 4 systems with this case (including my own) and have yet to find a problem with them. An excellent case for an excellent price.

Cons: The case does tend to trap heat. Not a huge problem if you utilize the extra fan ports but then your adding to the noise factor which I like to keep to a minimum. My CPU runs at 33 idle and around 50-55 under maximum load. I have the two side mount fans blowing inward and a rear 80mm fan plus the PS for exaust.

Other Thoughts: I have owned this case for over 3 years now. Every time I build a new system I think about getting a different one but then realize there isn't another case that really competes. It's attractivley simple design can't be touched. Five nights a week this case accompanies me to my work and it's held up flawlessly, no loose screws or window brackets, it doesnt make a sound. I'm giving this case up for my next build as I go with the Antec 900, but for it's time this case has served me incredibly and will continue to be used for my brothers machine. The best.

3 out of 5 eggsSolid case...as long as it works.

Pros: Good, sturdy construction. Keeps things as cool as they need to be, and looks fantastic.

Cons: The power button arrived DoA. Built the computer, pushed the button, and no dice. After running numerous diagnostic tests to narrow the problem down (first assuming I had a defective PSU, then assuming my motherboard was bad) I found that the power button was indeed the problem. I then plugged the reset button connector into the power button port on the mobo, my reset button is now my power button. It works, but the whole thing was just a huge headache. . . And now I'm missing a reset button.

Other Thoughts: I have always trusted Raidmax, but there is no excuse for this. All of my chips arrived in perfect working order, but the most basic of electronics construction on the case was faulty. Going to get on the phone with someone and I'm going to have a replacement front panel sent to me. . . otherwise my patronage with Raidmax products is going to come to an end.
