LinkWorld has created a case to have room for all you need without paying a fortune to do it. The Model 3230-02C2222U is, to all appearances, a no frills computer. It has an elegant, clean look that will be unobtrusive on anyone's desk. The two 5.25" and two 3.5" external drive bays are an obvious plus, but both expected and needed in today's world. As the adage goes, looks can be deceiving. Take a look inside.
The vents along both sides to let in cool air might be missed to a casual glance, and who would notice the duct giving the CPU fan a place to put the hot air. The rear 90mm fan will have little trouble keeping the temperature in check. The combination of all these discrete features are a great benefit to keeping your system cook in the hottest situations
The forward USB ports are both hidden and protected at the bottom. And then you get to the brains of the operation: An amazing five 3.5" internal hard drive slots. If you want more for your money, this is the way to go.

Agreed...worst case ever!!
- Pros: Absolutely none...have been in the biz for nearly 20 years and have never encountered a more useless product!
- Cons: We purchased 10 of these for a build. The CD drive doors are so flimsy they self destructed during shippment. The case uses a single screw to mount the mobo otherwise the mobo "rests" on cheap plastic pads. The case flexes causing the mobo to short out.
- Other Thoughts: I must say that NewEgg was attentive to this issue for us and received all ten back without question. If you are at all concerned about quality of your work do yourself a favor and pass on this case.
- Comments: First, I thought this case was going to be white, but I obviously didn't read that it's silver color. For the price this case is great, coming with a 500w 24 pin connector. Yes flimsy case. Yes plastic facing. But big, roomy, enough ventilation.
A trick to getting the cd drives in if you have a problem: Use a very thin screw driver head, insert into thin gap on the right of the cdrom frame (on face of case) and pry carefully, pull the whole frame out, slip the drive in. I didn't see this in the manual.

Not really that bad for the price.
- Pros: I realize its not a Hickey Freeman. You just have to be careful in taking some of the plastic fascia off. The mother board I used max the size as I used all the screw hole plus the nylon corner mount. This became a problem in installing the hard drives from the rear. The fascia on the front looks like it can be removed by the top and bottom handles that have screws and pushing the plastic "nibs" out. I will install from the front if it has access? I did replace the 500 Watt power supply with one much larger out put that will be needed. The one that came with did have 1 -sata power connector.
- Cons: Yes the sheet metal gauge is somewhat thin so be careful in handling. I replace and re-tap the four holes that hold the sides. I used knurled nylon screws as I would be removing it often till I had the outputs working correctly.
- Other Thoughts: If the manufacture would put more in the thickness of the sheet metal; it is a knock out for those that wish to make a hacintosh.
meh
- Pros: roomy, comfortable to carry because of the plastic handles (anyone else who has carried a G5 or a MacPro for any distance knows what I am talking about) good ventalation, mounted a case fan in the place of the CPU duct.
- Cons: seemingly bad measurements for the expansion slot area, my cards have to stick somewhat out of the slots to fit, one of the sidepanel screw holes was stripped, flimsy, and the expansion slot bracket was just a bad idea.
- Other Thoughts: I would not buy again, I am somewhat satisfied.
It's ok
- Pros: It is flimsy, but for price what do you expect, no problems with any thing else. though i bought it for a friend i wouldn't get it.
I bought this tower instead a little more in price, but worth it.
APEVIA X-QPACK2-AL/500 Black/ Silver Aluminum Body/ Front Mask MicroATX Desktop Computer Case 500W Power Supply - Retail
- Cons: flimsy, power supply looks cheap, it's just a cheap tower for a cheap price.
