It is time for your motherboard to feel a jet powered breeze. The Aerocool 3T-BBA is built with cooling in mind, making the jet-inspired cool looks almost unnecessary. Right up front is a superb LED lit 140mm fan ready to remind you so easily of jets and dogfights. The 250mm side panel fan almost makes the front fan unnecessary, since it provides a hurricane of wind inside the case. In the rear is a single vent to provide exhaust that could have another fan easily mounted. Up front, just above the USB, Audio, and Firewire ports, are fan controllers for both of the included fans, and one user added fan for ultimate adjustments of the micro-weather system being created within. All of the 3T-BBA’s cooling potential is not going to go to waste either.
Inside, the cooling powerhouse will be well used on the whopping 6 internal hard drive bays, either an ATX or micro ATX motherboard, and the seven PCI expansion slots. Protected by two styling doors up front, it has room for 4 external 5.25" Drives, and a 3.5" external drive bay.

Great Buy
- Pros: Very easy to put together and unlike previous posts, all the holes lined up for hard drives, CD’s, and the power supply. I have a power supply that has a large fan on the bottom and due to previous reviews was concerned that I might have to drill holes to make it work but I did not.
I purchased this case used so did not get any paperwork but the wiring was simple and long enough to easily reach everything, I had no problems at all.
I have a monster System using NVIDIA 8800 video cards that put out allot of heat into the case – so much so that my CPU ran at 48 to 55c, my chipset at 42 to 46. This is why I wanted this case, now at only half the fan my CPU is 35 to 40, chip set 28 to 32. This fan is awesome!
This Case looks incredible, Paint job is first rate, all metal case with a few plastic attachments but very sturdy and well made though it only weighs 18lbs.
- Cons: Not tool free but that is not necessarily bad
- Other Thoughts: This is a great buy hands down!
IS THIS THING ON?
- Pros: Got this for an airplane mechanic friend I was building a pc for. Really cool. The 25cm fan on the side and the 14cm fan in front are nearly inaudible. The only other fan I installed was a silent 120mm exhaust at the rear and my cpu is running at 31c at idle withthe stock fan/heatsink! The built-in fan controllers are a really nice addition also. Really well built and the aluminum front doors are cool.
- Cons: Motherboard tray is not removable.

A computer case Darth Vader would love
- Pros: This case would look right at home on Darth Vader's desk. Very cool design. Moves more air than Vader's respirator without making all that noise. I run both fans full blast...got the same prob as others not being able to adjust the controls, but it doesn't matter. The fans are pretty quiet. The case is light but sturdy. I don't like cases that weigh a ton.
- Cons: The front pinwheel turbine has some major runout making it look wobbly at speed, but it's a minor thing. I guess you could replace it with one of the turbine looking fans that Aerocool sells.
Very nice.
- Pros: the front doors are held in with magnets. No tabs to breakor weaken; doors will shut, and stay that way until the hinges break (which I suspect will take a very long time).
- Cons: the 250 side fan is installed blowing in. Tried to turn it around , but found the spacers were part of the decorative silver ring. Would have liked to install it to blow outwards, as a case with negative pressure is more efficeint than possitive pressure (generally speaking). However, turning the fan around makes it stick into the case further (and into my cards)
- Other Thoughts: Ironically, if I turn up the side fan my cpu and mobo temps actually CLIMB. However, if I turn up the front and rear fans, and leave the side all the way down, it cools rather well.
I also removed the blue front fan and replaced with a quality red 120mm. IMHO, looks better with the red.
Very Nice, Quiet Case
- Pros: Exceptionally quiet. Roomy interior compared to external dimensions. Simple layout. Low temps.
I'm very happy with the basics on this case. It was a joy to work with; very easy to build. It really is practically silent, yet keeps everything inside very cool.
- Cons: Placement of the external USB ports. Front fan ornament doesn't move. "Hooks" on front doors can catch wires for external accessories. Short interior can cause video card to be uncomfortably close to hard drives. Power supply mounting not quite to spec. Dust collector.
The USB ports on the front are at the very bottom, and I've decided I never want to buy a case with them located there again. It's simply too easy, when the case sits on the floor, for kids and pets to step on the cords plugged in there. Both of my USB ports are broken at this point and unusable. Even if I wanted to purchase a replacement port assembly, I'm sure they'd get broken again in short order. (Plus it looks like it would be extremely difficult to replace.)
Because of the open-grill design and utter lack of filters, a significant amount of dust collects on interior components.
There is a cosmetic plastic propellor blade on the front which does not spin, perhaps indicating airflow issues.
- Other Thoughts: This is the quietest case I've owned, which can't be under-rated.
I will not be using this case for my new system because the video card I intend to use is even larger than the 7800GTX in this system. There is just barely enough room (about an inch) for the cords connecting the hard drives and video card power to coexist.
The massive side fan is a great thing. It keeps the video card and CPU quite comfy.
