3 out of 5 eggsSo-so, there are better choices.

Pros: Small and compact, which means they can be easily put into an mATX case. I had these in the back of my old Lian-Li cube.

Cons: One made a horrible grinding noise right out of the package. The other started making the same noise a few months later. I took them out because they were so loud. I checked them over, they seems fine. It must have been something internal or the fan was off balance.

Other Thoughts: Just wouldn't buy again. They are not worth it for the little space they cover.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: Great fan for what it is. Get a little noise out of it but compared to my other fans you really cant notice. Cools great and hasn't broke after 3months constant use.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Newegg.com is the XXXX. Super fast shipping so on.......

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good quality, Quiet, Has sensor wire

Cons: Not sure what the four tiny black screws it comes with are for, because they sure don't fit anything on this fan.

Other Thoughts: I thought it was impossible, but this is the first 40mm fan I've used that has stayed quiet after a month of use. I've tried the more expensive brands thinking they would be better, but they all start making a terrible racket after a month or so. I figured that was just the nature of these small fans, until I decided to go the cheap route this time and buy the Sunon. I'm glad it proved me wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsReplacement for Bad NorthBridge fan

Pros: Cheap, and fairly quiet.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: My NB fan started making noises a long time ago. Finally got sick of it and bought a replacement. No more horrible noise, problem solved. Fine fan for Northbridge.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Inexpensive and works very well! Ball bearing and not sleeve bearing.

Cons: Uses a 3-pin connector for rotation control rather than the simpler 2 pin power connector. I had to use an adapter to get it to work with my application, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I used this to replace a faulty sleeve-bearing fan on an external DVD burner power supply. This was a great application.

4 out of 5 eggsGood product, only one minor complaint

Pros: Above average quality in comparison to numerous other 40mm fans I've used, and certainly better than the ones I'd get at comparable cost locally.

Cons: The shipping cost is understandable, but since I purchased two I don't quite approve of double the shipping on this very small item.

Other Thoughts: Please consider offering these in a twin pack.

I try to always have a couple of spare 40mm fans around in case of failure of a northbridge fan, or in a pinch even a graphics card fan.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Noisy

Pros: Do what a "fan" should do.

Cons: The motherboad detect the 14000RPM of the fan in stead of the 6500. Too high RPM. Most noisy fan in my system.

Other Thoughts: Try to find a quiet fan to replace the stock north bridge fan. Turns out this one is much more louder.

5 out of 5 eggsGood fan

Pros: Seems like a quality fan, at least much better than another one that I bought elsewhere. I'm using it as a northbridge fan for my Abit KV8 Max3.

Cons: .

Other Thoughts: My bios says it runs at 13500 RPM. I'm don't know whether that is accurate or not, but my previous fan (brand?) was at 6000.
