5 out of 5 eggsGet more cool air to your CPU

Pros: Nice looking, blue LED fan, quiet fan, easy install. Also the fan has the extra wire to hook to the motherboard, so your Mobo or speed controller can control the fan.

Cons: Some of the aluminum edges are a little sharp, so you want to watch your fan wire as you push the module in the drive bays.

Other Thoughts: I have had two of these running for about a year now. I use them to tunnel cool air directly to the CPU cooler, creating a nice flow of cool air from the front of the case to the CPU cooler and out the back. They work great fully loaded with three hard drives, or completely empty.

4 out of 5 eggsBulky

Pros: Exactly as spec'd to fit into a 3x5.25" bay. Just as long as you do not have any tabs in the way.

Cons: Ugly.

Other Thoughts: Knocking off an egg cause it's excessively bulky with a lot more metal than it needs. Nor is it anything you want to take a picture of and brag about. It's just ugly.

4 out of 5 eggsi Cage

Pros: Works like it's supposed to. Light, with long conn wires, fan is OK. My aluminum Armor+ now has 10 3.5" bays...

Cons: PITA installing HDD's due to screw placement. Magnetic screwdriver useful. Biggest con to me was lack of mounting holes to mount hdd's upside down. This meant no 90-degree plugs AND I could not install my dual SSD adapters in it.

Other Thoughts: I suppose I could modify the product but in my opinion it should have been designed that way. Also would have liked 140mm fan mounting options front and rear, they would fit.

5 out of 5 eggsnice bay for raid setup

Pros: Fits perfectly into CM Storm Scout and secures with the tool-less locks.

Looks good, cools the HDDs
put in 3x spinpoint 7200 rpm 1 TB HDDs

Cons: Aluminum construction is light, but not a big deal.

Had to replace Blue LED with a 120mm Red to match my case.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good product. Very happy that I bought it.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply Perfect

Pros: fit inside my CHEAPO case PERFECTLY with no hassle.

Cons: a wee bit difficult to screw in the drives due the limited clearance between the cage, and 3.5" bay. Thats easily remedied if you have a magnetized screwdriver.

Other Thoughts: Didn't honestly know what to expect from this. Fan kept all three drives very cool. and the blue light matches my case lights very well. Simply put, it does exactly what its supposed to do with no problems

5 out of 5 eggslove these for custom configurations

Pros: for some of my more 'free form' builds, these are very handy. I've used 3 of them.

Cons: since I'm not using it as intended, I can't really complain

Other Thoughts: I've never actually tried to put on inside a case.

5 out of 5 eggsPerformance

Pros: My case has a front cover that closed over the front of the drive bays, and therefore the fan too. I was apprehesive about how well the iCage would help because of this, but took the gamble. It paid off. Even with that front cover on, each hard drive has dropped 10C (18F). I also love that the power connector input has a power connector output attached too, so you don't lose any connections.

Cons: There whould be a little conduit to allow the fan power wires to safely reach the inside of your case. Instead they have to lay over your upper hard drive, or against one of the sharp edges of the iCage.

Other Thoughts: Someone mentioned that the iCage takes up 4 drive bays. This is absolute nonsense! Nothing from the inner or outer sides of the iCase goes near a 4th bay.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: allows me to place additional hard drives with a fan assembly

Cons: nothing notable as of yet

Other Thoughts: I'm very pleased with what I have here. I'm glad that I can convert unused 5.25 in bays into 3.5 in bays with a fan to keep hard drives cool.
