Come on... what do you expect?
- Pros: It's a cheap and inexpensive fan. I bought 8 for the free shipping and discount. All of them shoved into a NAS PC and they do a decent job (quietly I might add) of keeping air moving through the PC. I didn't put them on and expect instant high-vortex cooling... just some air being moved around.
- Cons: Never buy a inexpensive fan for your high heat or mission criticle equipment. Just remember the old "You get what you pay for" thing. It's true. OH! Also, these fans DO NOT have pass-through molex connectors. So if you buy a bunch for you PC, also get some power splitters.
- Other Thoughts: I bought these because they are inexpensive, allow air out the side somewhat too, and didn't add to the shipping price. I didn't expect a 5-star fan, but for what I paid, these are worth a 5/5 rating.
Good bang for buck
- Pros: Nicely packaged with accessories. Moves air with reasonable quiteness, not complete silence though. For $1.99 it's hard to get a better one.
- Cons: Sleeve bearing might cause problem in the long run. Shipping charge is way too high for such a small item.
- Other Thoughts: As other reviews have pointed out, side air intake might only be postive thing when used as exhuast fan.
