Doesn't "protect"
- Pros: It works fine as an outlet.
- Cons: It doesn't protect against surges, as I found out unfortunately after having it for about a year. Motherboard, video cards, memory - all shot. Power was fluctuating a bit in the area due to storms, comp turned off and that was that. Now i'm rebuilding it and stuck on an old system due to not spending a few more $ to begin with to get something good.
- Other Thoughts: I didn't buy from newegg so I paid more than double what it is on here. I should have just spent a bit more to save myself some trouble in the end.
Died after 6 months
- Pros: Cord is long enough. built very sturdy.
- Cons: Died after half year use. Opened it and found one of capacitor burned. modified wires and used as no-surge-protected outlet.
It's an outlet...
- Pros: It's very sturdy (I feel like I could drive a truck over this) and has enough outlets.
- Cons: I guess I won't know unless my house get's hit with lightning
- Other Thoughts: The cord is LONG. LONG. That's not a bad thing, just something to know. LONG.
