Pros: This has a power button that depresses into it instead of a rocker switch - seems less likely to be hit accidentally (depending on your surroundings). Plenty of outlets (10). Plenty of space for transformers if needed - 5 close together and 5 farther apart. Lots of protection for other connections (phone, cable, data). Long enough cord and 90 deg plug.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: I don't really have a need for all of the extra connections like cable and data and such. I'd like to find a good surge protector with enough outlets that doesn't have them... but no biggie.

Pros: Plenty of outlets, long power cord, some decent cables included.
Cons: Plastic casing has a cheap feel, wouldn't want to drop unit on a concrete floor.
Other Thoughts: Hopefully it'll work in a surge event. Don't really know if signal noise is cleaned up as I have analog cable.

Pros: Plenty of plugs, nice spacing on one side to deal with large DC power cords. Comes with Ethernet, Phone and RF cables included.
Cons: I can only get CATV signals through one set of the RF connectors {labeled DSS on the unit] this cancels the fifth star for me.
Other Thoughts: It's always a 'hail Mary' on these in regards to their performance, I have never seen a review of someone who received a major power hit or tried to file a claim for the 'insurance'
