Not for APC UPS
- Pros: none

- Other Thoughts: This is a counter to the previous review that said it didn't work with an APC UPS. APC UPSes use a proprietary pin-out, and thus only APC cables will work with them. Any other cables cause the instant protection mode that the other reviewer experienced, but that was not a fault of this cable.
works with GPS cables
- Pros: This cable works as advertised, has a prolific chipset (better compatibility than some cables), and talked fluently between my laptop and two garmin serial cables. Would highly recommend for this use!

Didn't work for me
- Pros: Seems like a quality piece
- Cons: I bought this to interface a APC SU700 UPS to my PC.
It did not work....The UPS would go into protection mode the second the pc was switched on.
I didn't really do much research beforehand, so this may be a known incompatibility.
It was instantly recognized and drivers seemed ok. For that I'll give it 3 eggs.
