5 out of 5 eggsAdaptor not really a cable

Pros: As the other reviewer stated not really a cable, more an adapter. Roughly 85 mm, 3.25 inches long. One end is a male SATA slot A (L shaped) connection for internal SATA cables, the other is a female eSATA (I shaped) connection. Does what it is meant to do but if you need a cable, a long cable Newegg has a 36" eSATA to Slot A L shaped female connector Slot A at one end to eSATA I female at the other end. BYTECC 36" Serial ATA to e-SATA Cable Model SATA-136EO - Retail Item #: N82E16812270167

Cons: An adapter not really a cable, but it works. Just short and my dog loved it. Grabbed it off the desk and used it as a chew toy. Lucky I didn't need it as I had the cable I mentioned above as a fall-back.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does what it should--plugs into an eSata socket, allows a Sata cable to plug into it.

Cons: A little short, but since it's more of an "adapter" than a "cable", this is not really a problem.

1 out of 5 eggsI lost it

Pros: It's a cable

Cons: Lost it while dumping the highly electrostatic packing peanuts. These things were possesed. Could not get them to stay in the garbage bag.

Other Thoughts: Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that all the items in the package had electrostatic warning lables.

Newegg rocksssssss ?

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works as advertised.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used it to connect an internal SATA drive (in a hot swapping rack) to an external eSATA port, by putting this adaper in the eSATA port, connecting a regular SATA cable to this adapter, and then routing the SATA cable into the computer. It was the only way I could get SATA hotswapping with my motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is exactly that I want

Pros: I use this cable to connect a HD into my case. ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition MB that it cames with Sil3132 chip to make a RAID0-1, the problem was that only have two SATA connections and one is eSATA so with this cable I can make RAID0 and put the two HA inside the case (of couse I needed to put one cable outside-inside the case)

Cons: None. Work perfectly like supouse to do.

Other Thoughts: Now I have configured RAID0 (using this cable and Sil3132 chip) and RAID5 (using the NV RAID).

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine.

Pros: Easily connect SATA drives to an E-SATA connector. Works fine with the Vantec UGT-ST350CB PC-Card.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My only complaint is the price and the shipping charge for this small item.
