5 out of 5 eggsCorrection on previous post

Pros: Item actually only supports 800 MHz bus. Got my bus speeds from different boards flip flopped, but my comments are correct

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood price, easy install

Pros: Easy install - all the holes lined up and the back plate fit nicely. No problems getting the CPU or video card mounted. Good product for the price. Supports 1066 Bus.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Used the board in a mid-upper level build.

3 out of 5 eggsPoor Packing

Pros: Its a inexpensive Intel board. They have always worked well in the past. This is the first time I've ordered this model

Cons: This is the last time I'll order this model

Other Thoughts: The board is an OEM board and comes in a box 5x to big with all the accessories rattling around loose with it. I'll be suprised if it works after traveling 1500 miles in the back of a UPS truck

4 out of 5 eggsBad Newegg

Pros: Inexpensive starter board. Great for those just learning how to build a box.

Cons: Not hooked up yet so don't know.

Other Thoughts: I have not hooked it up yet. It's a Christmas gift for my dad to start with. Newegg shipped it in a UPS bow WITH NO PROTECTION! I know it's OEM but come on...put some snow in the box. It was slapping around in the box. I sure hope it's functioning.

4 out of 5 eggswait a minute

Pros: mentioned before

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I stand corrected-I tried to use the driver supplied for the onboard graphics & lost interest quickly, but decided to try downloading the latest from intel, and hypermemory was enabled giving me 512mb total video allocation(from system memory)on most games I can't get below 20fps using a pentium d.vpu isn't good enough for doom 3 or other pixel & vertex shader intense games.but battlefield vietnam never slows down.definitely a good choice if you can't afford your high end pci-e video card right now.

4 out of 5 eggsso much for ati

Pros: Decent processor support, pci express x16,high def audio, intel designed board(matches perfectly with intel cpu's),64 bit support

Cons: Onboard video was a waste of time...a geforce 5500 running on a standard pci slot ran circles around ati's 200 express, even using a celeron.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a decent board for the money.Plenty of opportunity to expand, just be sure to upgrade your power supply & do your homework concerning what processor to put in this thing.I went with a 915 & had no trouble.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Budget Board

Pros: I built a nice, low-cost system using this board. It can use the old DDR 400 RAM and PATA hard drives that are sitting in your closet. The latest revision of this board runs a Presler 915 with no issues! The board has SATA and PCI Express 16x for future upgrades. Nice board for a firt-time builder on a budget.

Cons: Only 2 RAM slots. No DDR2. Not an over-clocker.

Other Thoughts: If you find a woman that treats you as well as Newegg, you should keep her.
