1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It has lots of options to play with and all manner of interfaces. You want two IDE ports, floppy, 2 ethernets, 4 PCI-e, 8 SATA drives, blinking LEDS, ....its got it

Cons: ...and all that stuff is held together by chewing gum. I should have sent it back as soon as I could, but by the time I realized EPOX was out of business it was too late. All sorts of little bugs. Has never suspended properly, has BIOS bugs. Can you tell I'm venting.

5 out of 5 eggsBest effin board

Pros: 4 years later, this thing is still being upgraded and not giving me any problems, have a floppy cd/dvd 5 harddrives, new graphics cards coming and going same with cpus. no problems this mother board has everything i wanted back then and has everything i wanted now. the digital light on the mobo helped me solve a few overclocking issues. firewire usb ide sata, it has it all

Cons: it cant handle the superpower setting in bios.keep the settings mild.

Other Thoughts: epox makes great boards. this one is completely customizable.

4 out of 5 eggsTech Support

Pros: EPox makes a nice product... I'm very pleased with the EP-MF570SLI.

Cons: I agree with the other posters that the Tech Support is terrible. The down load site is down more than it's up. And as I write this the site is down and will not work... I spoke to a EPox Tech Support person and requested updates etc. He said I had to request in writing by e-mail. I said you can't e-mail it to me like other companies. He said "just e-mail u request..." So I did - three days ago.... I ask the Tech about the site he said "WE know"

As a case in point, the Phone numbers listed are not connected[Newegg needs to correct this]. Even EPox's site still has it's old numbers - so it's not Newegg's fault.... The correct numbers are as follows:
Tech: 909-468-9744
Main number: 909-869-0518

Don't beleive others based on thier reviews of Tech Support, check it out for your self... Including the phone numbers.... This might not be the board for a beginner whom my need Tech Support.

5 out of 5 eggsFor EPOX drivers.

Pros: Just a word about the drivers for these motherboards. Look at the utility>software from their webpage for this one and there are the drivers. Must have been down when the fellow below tried.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I have always had good luck with EPOX boards, maybe 4 of them total.

5 out of 5 eggsAfter 8 months of use...Great Board

Pros: I bought this board back in December of 2006 and I LOVE it!
Everything just works, Setup was easy and plenty of USB ports. SLI is Awsome!
I didn't have any trouble with getting IDEs to work like others have but thats because I built a new system..everything SATA.

Great Product at a great Price!

Cons: Like others have stated Epox does not offer Driver downloads from their website but one of my co-workers contacted Epox and received a replacement CD for drivers.

Other Thoughts: After 8 months of use and Various OS installs (WinXP Pro, Vista Ultimate, Linux, Solaris and SkyOS) I am very happy I bought it! Good product awsome price.

3 out of 5 eggsAnother look from a Year down the line.

Pros: Nice setup on the motherboard, I really like this board don't get me wrong.

Cons: NO EPOX SUPPORT! I have bought a few more epox motherboards because of this one, but serious folks, go over to epox's website, and try getting drivers on its USA site.. You cant! The page is broken. Not just my location, my work, and several friends houses, same thing, no driver page when you click for it. I now know this and will never buy epox again. I feel lucky that I haven't had a problem yet. If I did, I have no manufacture to turn to.

Other Thoughts: If you want to take the chance, go for it. This is a good motherboard. Besides the fact that the nvidia firewall was blue screening me for several months, that lead me to believe other things where failing... I use a wireless card anyways, so its not useful to me at the moment.

Other then that I'd say am happy. This motherboard did test very well on benchmarks.

5 out of 5 eggsThis motherboard is excellent!!

Pros: CHEAP! GOOD quality!! Installation is easy! All of the info u need was clearly written in manual.
It comes with 8 S-ATA ports and 2 IDE port. Its sweet to have them both so that I dont have to upgrade all the hardware in my old computer.

Cons: If u want to boot the system by the IDE hard drive, this is not the motherboard u need. This mother board have a Main IDE port and secondary IDE port. One each only support up to 2 device. I got 1 DvD burner, 1 Combo drive, 2 regular IDE hard drive and 1 SATA hard drive. I had really hard time to boots with IDE hard drive cuz the system only boots from primary IDE port. Nothing wrong if ur primary hardrive is SATA. Work perfectly!

Other Thoughts: Comparing this motherboard with other SLI motherboard. This montherboard is much more width than the others. And Its more thoughtful for the person who doesnt want to trash their IDE hard drive. The price is cheaper than same level SLI motherboard.
This is the best motherboard Ive never used before!

Pros: Two IDE Channels, nForce 5 series chip, SLi, LED temperature redaout display, I could go on and on....

Cons: Only 3 PCI slots, second IDE channel needs drivers (Very confusing at first)
