Great Stuff
- Pros: The POST LED display is a real nice thing; almost gimmicky if you never need, priceless if you do. The mobo also has tiny status LEDs for the CPU and memory. Again, these seem like fluff unless you have problems, then they show their value.
BIOS has some serious overclocking controls. Tons of SATA connectors, dual PCI-E slots, and the heatsinks for various components. The mobo has almost everything.
- Cons: No on-board IEEE-1394
- Other Thoughts: I've used Epox mobos since the nForce3 days, they do a great job, never had a failure.
A work of art
- Pros: This motherboard is awesome. Pure and simple, oc's nice, the debug lcd can be very helpful.
- Cons: ram is kinda close to processor so be careful with massive heatsinks.

Epox is in bankruptcy
- Pros: Epox are fine quality boards for the overclockers.
- Cons: Company is in trouble, see other thoughts
- Other Thoughts: Hi, Epox is under reorganization in bankrupcy, there website is up but they do not have any new stock on this board. They do have stock of new older boards and refurbished boards at Epox USA. A new company started Supox at from the employees of Epox, but we are not a reseller of their products and they don't have that one listed. I have sent them an email, interesting enough Supox tech support email is enfae@epox.cn Epox in china. We have been an Epox direct reseller for 9 years and listed on their website.
Solid Mobo
- Pros: I too waited too long to get this mobo from Newegg. By the time I was ready to order it, they were out of stock. I finally found one on Eb** and am a happy camper. This is a great mobo, easy setup, stable and solid. Who cares about an IDE slot anyway. Even my optical drive is sata...so long IDE.
- Cons: Can't get anymore.
- Other Thoughts: I'm running this with an AMD X2 5600, 2 gigs of Crucial Ballistix, and dual 7950GT's in SLI. All this in a CM stacker with 7 120mm Antec fans. Can't wait to upgrade to X2 6400 and dual 8800GTX's along with 2 more gigs of ballistix.
Is it too late?
- Pros: Only from what i've read from other reviews. I still dont have one, been looking for one for quite a while. Hence its very good. Got an epox EP-9NPA+SLI for some time. I wanted to make the switch to AM2 and found out about this board...and how its not available anywhere.
- Cons: Its not friggin available anywhere. Oh, and evidently the 2nd ide channel dosn't work...who uses ide anymore? Do that still make those things?
- Other Thoughts: Wish newegg brings some back in stock, its got some nice features and a boatload of supporting ram (16 gb, holyshhhh). At any rate, it does seem like EPoX is goign out of business, and that SuPoX dosnt seem to have that much order as of yet. The closet that have is the 570+SLi. I guess im gonna have to settle with that.
