5 out of 5 eggsHappy

Pros: Price and quality.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: I have three of the boards currently running daily and 5 Epox boards overall in my household machines. They are just great motherboards.

4 out of 5 eggsEpox, where's the STR support?

Pros: Nice board, decent layout, seems stable, overclocking and memory options aplenty, Epox has supported with regular BIOS updates

Cons: It doesn't support suspend to RAM. Unbelieveable. There's no option in the BIOS to enable this. Also, the nifty speed control program doesn't work with the Athlon 64 stock cooler fan. It requires a 4 pin fan header with a special control pin.

Other Thoughts: I'm sorry Epox, but it's inexcusable not to support something as basic as STR on a modern motherboard. This thing's going to online auction. What a shame, it has so much potential.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: My research at THG told me this board overclocks very well and is the best of the cheaper S939 motherboards.

Cons: I ended up sending it back unopened. I decided I needed onboard firewire. I have a pci firewire card to drop in, but then there would be no room for a sound card. But that is my fault for still using a modem, i.e., not enough PCI slots for my needs.

Other Thoughts: I will give this board a shot on my next S939 build.

4 out of 5 eggsGood as long as it works

Pros: Onboard diagnostic LED, good feature set

Cons: Questionable durability

Other Thoughts: I've read a few reviews here about leaking capacitors. Don't know what did mine in, but first the CMOS kept resetting, but replacing the battery didn't help Now it is at Newegg awaiting an RMA repair.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Runs like a charm, more overclocking options than my Epox Nforce 3 board had. SATA 1.5 working fine for me.

Easy for novice overclockers to use (unlike DFI).

Running my Athlon 64 3000+ at 2.5 GHz, which is like 277 MHz FSB. Could probably go higher.

Cons: Doesn't have the nice round cables of a DFI Lanparty.

? Can't think of any.

5 out of 5 eggsThis board is good stuff!

Pros: I initially had to RMA two of these boards due to SATA failures but this one has been stable for over a year now with no problems whatsoever. I flashed the BIOS once or twice successfully. The BIOS has many options and goes over 300fsb for you overclockers. I am currently running 2 gigs of patriot @ 2-3-2-5 1T command rate w/ an X2 3800 proc and 2 seagates in RAID0 and 7900GT vid.

Cons: none really....sometimes DOA can really be a pain in the a*s though
Like i said I initially had to RMA 2 of them but this one is good

Other Thoughts: I liked this board enough that I even put one in my friends compy that I built and it has been going for about 8 months now!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: many boot options. quick and easy bios update.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I initially had stability problems but I was using a 330 watt power supply which it turned out did not supply enough juice. I switched to a 500 watt power supply and the board has performed perfectly since. Using 2x512 dual channel corsair value ram. athlon 64 3000.

1 out of 5 eggsNo as good as i thought

Pros: WOULDN'T INSTALL WINDOWS AT ALL KEPT CRASHING APPEARED TO HAVE A GREAT BIOS

Cons: VERY POOR QUALITY TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT

Other Thoughts: TRIED TWO TYPES OF RAM AND A NEW HARDRIVE. ALSO STOOD ON MY HEAD AND DID BACKFILPS WITHOUT GETTING IT TO WORK.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Mobo

Pros: I've used 7 Epox boards this year. All are great and work well.

Cons: Some of new AM2 boards have no firewire that I do need.

Other Thoughts: Make sure that you use newest bios for your Epox

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Greatest MB I can imagine in it's class. Has an abundance of everything I need (I don't need firewire so why bicker about that). Install and bedding in was quick and flawless and performance has been glichless and rock steady.

Cons: This is my second try on this board. The first had a bad bios and wiped out all the data on every installed SATA drive. What the heck, with today's high tech world and low cost labor, we can expect a failure of some type now and then.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this board to anyone. It is the latest of about 6 Epox MBs I have owned and I have been happy with all of them. Special thanks to Newegg for quickly and painlessly replacing the one I mentioned that went bad.
