How about this review?
- Pros: This motherboard is simply amazing especially for those people who are trying to buy a budget PC - what? come on 97 USD is pretty good for a motherboard especially when it has all of these crazy features as stated in the manual and on the manufacturer's website. Pair this with a AM2 Athlon 64 3200+ and an Nvidia 7800 GT or one of the newer versions and you just might find yourself with a medium gamer PC - you'll have a match made in heaven. Both the CPU and the Bridges on the motherboard run extremely cooled that I could not believe my eyes. To get an idea it was idleling at 25C and maxing at 35C? What's up with that?
- Cons: The CD-In Jack on the motherboard is located in a weird position on the motherboard. Unless you have a long enought cable to get to it you may find yourself in a tight squeeze. But if you ask me it didn't bother me at all.
- Other Thoughts: Wished they had put ATA round cables and not the old kind. Round cables increase airflow in the system.
Great Mb for money
- Pros: Installed great in my case, plenty of room for my DVD/RW, CD/RW,3 hard drives, BFG 7950 GT-OC, 2 dimms of corsair XMS2, and 3d Rocket II heat sink paired with X2 4800+, 650w power supply. No problems of any kind. Even rock solid with Top Performance enabled in bios. Many other MB's for the AM2 socket have options that are usless for more money, but looks nice on a box. Get this board, spend more money on ram and the video card
- Cons: As I said before, vary stable
- Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a mobo that will take the new AM2 socket from AMD, and the newest video cards then buy this board. CPU-Z Validator-131386

the best GIGABYTE mobo yet
- Pros: SLI ready, 16gig of DDR2 RAM support, gigabit lan card, and great overclocking features
- Cons: not a dual gigabit LAN and no onboard gfx adapter, but its a gamers motherboard so no biggie
make sure u when buy this motherboard u have PCIe x16 card to configure the BIOS before u switch to regular PCI, although nowadays no one owns a PCI gfx card
- Other Thoughts: great motherboard for the price, at first i was looking for a low budget motherboard, thinking its not an important factor, but i was proven wrong ones more... i went with a little bit cheaper CPU (the Athlon dual core 3800) but this mobo, despite its somewhat medium price was totally worth the extra $$
with great overclocking and system health features, this mobo is totally worth owning, plus the SLI features and gigabit LAN network card... i have my CPU overclocked to 2.6ghz cooled by Arctic Cooler Freezer 64 Pro, and what i noticed about the mobo is that when the CPU is overclocked, it check to on POST for any instability, if error or temp. spike occurs, the mobo does not OC, instead it put the CPU on stock, until rebooted
AWESOME
- Pros: Its awesome, supports SLI and supports the new AMD quadcore that will be coming out. Supports uo to 16 GB of RAM. The onboard Audio works good as well.
- Cons: Doesn't have an onboard video card but it doesn't matter, I bought a 7900GS.
- Other Thoughts: I really liked this motherboard and planning on keeping it for about 5 years or so before replacing it.
Nice Board.
- Pros: Very stable, easy build, SLI, high overclockability if you buy good memory.
- Cons: I've built several systems with this board, one died after 1 year and 2 months of use, all others are still functional... Dead one was most likely caused by junky PS.
- Other Thoughts: Buy a good powersupply. I've taken a 4600 X2 to 2.7 Ghz with bottom dollar memory, probably could have gotten more but it wasn't needed because the computer could run everything fine as-is, I got tired of experimenting.
