Not serious for gaming
- Pros: Affordable; reputable manufacturer; online driver updates; fairly easy to install.
- Cons: MSI software tends to be poor quality; MSI drivers tend to be one release behind current (go to Intel for graphics drivers and chipset); as-is this is not a gaming motherboard. You will want a good graphics card in the PCI-e slot.
- Other Thoughts: This motherboard is good for office and homework, but not a great choice for gaming - especially gaming depending on the ICH6 / GMA graphics features. This makes for a garden variety "average" product not particularly worth much to begin with.
Solid board with a slight quirk
- Pros: Socket 479, Included heatsink, PCIe 16x and 1x, DDR and DDR2 support, Dolthan processor support
- Cons: No Banias processor support.
- Other Thoughts: This board DOES NOT support the Banias processor as stated above. This was a minor inconvience, but nonetheless, was frustrating. It was the only thing keeping me from rating it a 5.
Not good
- Pros: PCI-E, SATA x 4, USB x 8
- Cons: Everything else blows, only works with celeron, won't take anything else refunded for money back!
