4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Almost 5 years now since I purchased this motherboard and is still going strong. I haven't had to update the bios yet which is still on the 1701 bios.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: For how technology has progressed it is still very decent for most high end gaming. I have somewhat upgraded the graphics card.

Pros: Great mobo.
Still running today.

5 out of 5 eggsRunning strong since 07

Pros: Awesome updates to its supported processors. I originally put a athlon x2 3600 in when I got this board, now I have a phenom 2 920. Perfectly stable and is very capable overclocking cpu's. Never expected to get this much life out of this board when I got it just from a performance standpoint (mostly expected it to work this long).

Absolutely nothing on it is dead, works like the day it was new.

Cons: doesn't support the 6 core cpu's? lol, can't hardly complain though.

Other Thoughts: love this board, 5 years old and it is still relevant as a mid range part.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Hella long life. I've been running this board for well over 6 years, maybe 7, and it hasn't missed a lick. 3 power supplies have gone belly up, but the board keeps ticking. Only thing that failed is the audio, but I run a PCI audio card anyways.

Cons: None. Thank you for this board ASUS. Maybe your best ever.

5 out of 5 eggsThis board is beast!

Pros: This board has been running with all the same parts since the initial build almost 6 years ago! Stable, flexible, adaptable. It was a great value for the price back then, and continues to be so.

Cons: The only thing I did not like, which is not necessarily unique to this board or this manufacturer, mind you, is that you can't use both the 1/4x PCI slots AND the 16x slots, not from an electrical standpoint, but simple physical space. Most video cards require double space, so if you want to run SLI, you lose both 1/4x PCI slots. I opted for a single, quality video card, and a single, quality TV Tuner card.

Other Thoughts: Some reviewers may have lousy customer support experience with ASUS. When they're good, their products are really good. But when something goes wrong, their support plain sucks. But apart from that, they keep all of their product info and drivers online for several years after they stop making the product. Many companies do not do this, and it is majorly important at times like system reinstalls or other troubleshooting, or BIOS updates. Also, someone said they've never seen anything as versatile as this board, but I have seen one fossil from the past that is still legendary: ASUS P/I P55T2P4, that board was epic in it's day. This M2N32 SLI Deluxe is a worthy successor to that epicness.

5 out of 5 eggsInfinately Upgradeable

Pros: Wow , would you just look at all of the reviews for this now ancient fossil. Wonder if any other Motherboard review can boast all of this admiration. Great Motherboard made Unbelievable by the beta bios and Phenom 2 Processor. Making it a great board almost 6 years after release. I have many Pc's, but this board is my staple everyday

Cons: The Phenom 9950 is as good as it gets...oops update new bios and 945 Phenom 2 puts this board in the same zip code as some 2011 boards.

Other Thoughts: Too bad i'm stuck with an old phenom processor...Just Kidding have a shiny new 945 Quad clocked at 3600MHZ with no increase in voltage. I'm sure I could get in the neighborhood of 4GHZ IF I wanted to raise the Voltage. This thing is going to outlive me.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Motherboard

Pros: I've owned this motherboard for 4-5 years now. not a single problem. have constantly updated it with newer processors and video cards. highly recommend this board, very easy and versatile. because of this motherboard i will definatly get an ASUS MoBo for my next build. Has many features for those of us who like to overclock, etc., has everything you'll need

Cons: doesnt make coffee :)

Other Thoughts: I really wish newegg still sold this motherboard. its a shame that since its a couple years old they dont carry it anymore... its still a beast!

5 out of 5 eggsOne of best ever

Pros: Bought this motherboard during the summer of 2006, which makes it almost 5 years now. I went through 2 CPUs, two graphics cards where one died, a dead PSU, dozens of peripherals, but this mobo is still rollin'. Absolutely the best motherboard i ever purchased. This motherboard is pretty much the reason why i purchase ASUS motherboards exclusively.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Very versatile board, great features and compatibility. Extremely robust, reliable, and has longer longevity than any board ever owned by anyone I know.

Cons: After 6 years of service, the secondary SATA controller died.

Onboard primary SATA - RAID controller setup is cumbersome, setting up a RAID array added about 20 seconds to my boot time.

Other Thoughts: I have steadily upgraded other components in this computer but this motherboard has continued to serve all of my needs admirably in my 6+ years of using it. What a superb product!

I am still using for gaming it with a 5870 and a Phenom II 940 BE, I have had three different AM2 chips prior to this. The sustained compatibility with newer processors has been fantastic! Performance with upgrades to other components has kept my box on par with friends' newer gaming builds. Hahah!

5 out of 5 eggsDistance

Pros: Alot of features including strong wifi connection that works with online gaming. I purchased this MB from newegg in Jan 2008 (its now Feb 2011) and played many games requiring online access and decent bandwidth and the wifi/MB itself has held up through the thick of it. I have replaced virtually everything else in my computer due to age/defects but this MB still remains.

Cons: the only con i have is that this MB is no longer available on Newegg.

Other Thoughts: ASUS is definately a leader in this field. I would buy ASUS coffee if they made it. There products are that good. (alright maybe the ASUS 24'' monitor i purchased 4 months ago has 1 dead pixel in the middle of the screen, but thats less worrisome than spilled milk) i highly recommend ASUS MB and products
