1 out of 5 eggsWARNING

Pros: None 4 dead boards Two I bought from Newegg which died within three days of installing the boards, I sent the boards back to ASUS and it took them, 21 days to send the replacement boards back to me. One of the boards would not even post and the second board had a dead PS2 connector. So I sent those boards back as well via what I was promised would be a cross shipment which it was not. ASUS has cost my company over $1800.00 in non-billable time, labor, shipping, and parts. I finely bought two Gxxxyte boards.

Cons: ASUS customer service is the worst I have encountered in 10 years of business. They charge you for the RMA shipping, they lie to you about the time it takes for an RMA 10 days was really 21 days, the second RMA they reversed the numbers in the zip code and sent the boards somewhere else.

Other Thoughts: If they will give a small business owner this many problems after I have purchased over $27,000.00 of their parts in the last two years then they will do the same thing to anyone

1 out of 5 eggsDon't waist your time or money

Pros: this is an update to the prior posting ASUS did not cross ship the boards I was told. Now they are going to wait on the old boards.

Cons: ASUS is not a company I will ever use again

1 out of 5 eggsDON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY

Pros: None

Cons: I bought two of these boards over a month ago for one of my clients. On the 3rd day both boards failed with a voltage regulator problem. I had to pay for the RMA one way before ASUS would repair or replace the boards. It took 21 days from the time they received the boards before they shipped me new boards. Once the new boards arrived I installed the first board in the clients work station to find out it would not post. I installed the second board and the workstation booted normaly however it would not detect a PS2 mouse or any USB device. ASUS is now sending me via cross shipment two more boards which are suppose to be tested...we will see

Other Thoughts: I build over 50 custom computers per month for my clients and I have NEVER had this many problems out of any product.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect right out of the box!!

Pros: Reasonably priced, good bios support, very expandable, usb 2, and compatible with sata drives.

Cons: None really other than no PCI Express, which I wasn't looking to buy anyway. The board was pretty much what it's made out to be.

Other Thoughts: If your looking for a versatile board that will allow you the ability add a high end video card and take advantage of the new SATA technology, this is a good board.

5 out of 5 eggsA Nice Little Board

Pros: I just got this board about a month ago since my old Gigabyte died on me. (I think it was the power supply that did me in) I bought this board as a stopgap board, and I really like it. It is kinda small, but the bios posted right up with no problem (even with the update). All connections were easy and smooth, and it works well with my 3.2 P4 processor. It also came the next day (Live in NJ) thru UPS. Thanks New Egg for giving us another shipping option too!

Cons: None I could find, except one of the fan connectors is at the far end of the board...had to stretch the wire a bit to make it to work.

Other Thoughts: I will probably get another ASUS board when I get my new 775 P4, since the Socket 478 will be phased out in a couple of years. But this board is worth the price, and it will serve me well thru this time, till I buy my new board and processor.
