Great for the price
- Pros: Good price, PCI-Express, LGA 775, fast, 4 ram slots, SATA
- Cons: ASUS technical support isn't great but they don't care sending a new board out if you "think" yours is defective.
- Other Thoughts: Many people complain about IDE not being detected. There are two IDE ports, one of which is a controller. Simply have the drivers on a floppy during Windows install and you'll have no problems.
Great board, excellent value
- Pros: This is just an awesome board! ASUS delivers another great board!
- Cons: none so far, other than it searching for a ide hard drive which i dont use and will prompt me to hit f1 to continue before it will continue booting, maybe i am overlooking a setting :)
- Other Thoughts: JUST BUY IT!!!
I'm not happy
- Pros: If it worked, it would have been a great board I'm sure. Asus was semi-helpfull also with their tech support.
- Cons: The board just didn't work. Sent it back, got a new one and that one didn't work. I brought the computer to two different computer stores to have them check it out, along with all the other parts. All other parts tested fine, so it must have been the motherboard. Sent it back again to buy a new motherboard, full ATX this time no more micro for me.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg is great, I give them two thumbs up for helping me out twice! Thanks a lot.
