4 out of 5 eggsLasted a long time. Hoping it will hold out a bit longer

Pros: Great features for it's time and the bios top hat saved me more than once when I was screwing around with the firmware. Has lasted me 5 to 6 years so far (knock on wood).

Cons: WOL doesn't work well nor does sleep. Board will sometimes start but not load the POST system.

Other Thoughts: 0/1 net card and sound card are lacking but I always use separate cards so didn't really see as a con but worth noting.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away from any ECS board

Pros: Lots of features

Cons: Doesn't work.....

Technical Support is very very bad.

Other Thoughts: Specifications look really good if it worked.

POST takes forever, I have constant freezes and reboots.

Technical Support blames it on everything else but the motherboard.

I'm throwing it away and buying an ASUS. Unfortunately I'm stuck with Crossfire now.

5 out of 5 eggsKA3 MVP MVP

Pros: Newegg delivered the package well packed and on time.
The layout on the board is accomodatable, nice looking aggressive appeal. MVP is right.

Cons: none, any problem that I encountered were solved through experience.

Two screws were found in the anti-static bag that wrapped the mother board, which is a little suspicious.

Other Thoughts: Won't install itself.

4 out of 5 eggsI like it!

Pros: The motherboard worked on initial set-up. The led lights helped me to diagnose an incorrect video card hook up. Plenty of options for upgrading. Newegg fast shipping.

Cons: Was unable to download the drivers that came with the motherboard. An "I/O Error 21" would display and disrupt set-up. This limits my ability to set-up crossfire, because the ATI Catalyst software is on the disk. Downloaded software from site and will try and download tonight.

Other Thoughts: Thanks for all the wonderful feedback from prior buyers. This helped me to purchase the correct upgrades, ie. G.Skill memory with lower voltage. If anyone can help me with the error message, it would be appreciated.

Pros: All of the problems have fixes.

Cons: There are problems.

Other Thoughts: Be sure to stay in contact with the motherboards company. I have an AMD 64bit 6000+ which, after purchasing, learned that the processor is not supported by the motherboard. After a few days I decided to get in contact with the mobo company and they had a bios update for it, updating bios is a whole different story but its stable now, and it does what is is supposed to.

5 out of 5 eggsThe MVP is an MVP!

Pros: Bought this for my son who throws everything at it and once we got the operating system installed it was great. Loaded it up with AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Brisbane 2.5GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor Model ADO4800DDBOX, 4GB (2 sets of A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Memory Model ADQVE1A16K, and the HIS Hightech H165PRF512N-R Radeon X1650PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 CrossFire Supported Video Card. It's stable and it rocks. My son loves it as it replaced a three-year old BioStar w/ onboard vidoe and an AMD CPU.

Cons: Lousy BIOS setup instructions -- as usual for an English as a first language person -- but we got it all figured out on the third try.

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong if you have a lot a PATA drives (CD, DVD and HD) you want to keep using and has lots of connections for SATA when it comes to upgrade time. GO FOR IT!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Motherboard for less than 90 bucks

Pros: Supports Raid 0, Very nice boot screen, instead of seeing text like I'm used to. Comes with plenty of goodies, supports crossfire, handles my x2 6400 black edition very well, onboard sound is very compariable to my sound blaster HD card.

Cons: didn't put itself together, and still won't wash my dishes.

Other Thoughts: If you wanna overclock later on, but don't want to spend much on the board (in my case, got this board and x2 6400 black edition for later oc), then this is the board to go.
Also, running two HIS IceQ Turbo HD2600xt cards and using Aspire X-Navigator case and reversed 120mm fan to intake air, no overheating once so ever and OC the cards a little

5 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: Low price, good features.

Cons: Futzy for lack of better term. Replaced old Mobo of same model with new one. Old one caused computer to randomly turn on and/or restart.

Other Thoughts: For the price I got the board, with rebate, it was a good buy. Still seem to have some issues with powering on/ restarting randomly, but not nearly as many as I used to. Old Mobo was original with my PC which I've owned for over 1 year now. Good company as far as I can tell.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Price and specs. Familiar with the line. Lots of SATA including and external connector, and you can still get an LPT1.

Cons: This is my second ECS MBO. It attracted me because of its price and nice specs. I think I have a nice system now that it's built. However, the documentation is poor and I had a very hard time getting it to boot up initially. The ECS help site is not very good. Bios problems that took time to fix.

Other Thoughts: Why all the lights on the board. MBO manufacturers need to get someone with Western sized hands to design around.
