decent budget board

Pros: cheap, 754 board when I have 754 proc's sitting around.

Cons: Semi inconsiderate layout. The connector for the MB CD audio is directly under the AGP slot. W/ 8x card, don't expect to be able to use the CD audio connector.

SATA connection - The extra single SATA connection w/ RAID support is really nice, but who would ever have a RAID setup w/ one external and one internal drive?

Other Thoughts: For the price this was the best replacement 754 board that was available w/ SATA 1/0/JBOD support. Wanted this for my HTPC machine and I'm sure it will do nicely. 3/5 stars for not being a premium board and having some minor quirks - otherwise pretty much what you pay for.

Worked well initially

Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: Purchased 4 for 4 computers. They all worked flawlessly originally.
Good motherboard for a spare, or for very low priced computers.

Cons: 2 of the 4 have died thus far, from the same issue. They were working fine for at least 8 months each. Then within 2 months of each other, they both experienced the same death: they just randomly shut off and never powered back on.

Other Thoughts: Good for a spare socket 754 mobo, probably wouldn't rely on it for business work or anything too important or time sensitive.

Pros: Its a great board and its easy to setup

Cons: It was to bad my first motherboard was DOA and had to use a RMA newegg was great with replacement
