5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Great Board at a great price with many features.

Cons: Audio needs some work. I could not get the sound quality I wanted so I use a sound card.

Other Thoughts: I'm writing this review now as I am purchaseing another board as a replacement for my backup PC. I've owned this board over a year now and have had no issues as it's stable and overclocks well.

4 out of 5 eggsGood inexpensive board

Pros: Price pretty cheap compared to some of the big boards these days, lots of ports for conectivity. I like how it has good sound output options (Optical, digital coax, analog) overclocking is easy and straightfoward in the BIOS, automatically reverts back to stock settings if it hangs (no more resetting cmos with jumper) windows xp reconized my SATA HD no problem (didnt have to load SATA drivers via a floppy disk)

Cons: Not much, the physical layout of the board could have been a little better, it works ok but it can be a little snug because of the layout

Other Thoughts: For the money its hard to be beat, works like a champ and offers alot that you dont find in lesser expensive boards, def recommend this one

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board for a great price

Pros: Fits very well into my mid-tower case. Great overclocking options, both in the BIOS and in the utility that installs from the CD. I have not had issues with a Brisbane core that other reviewers have seen. My Athlon 64 X2 4400+, which uses the Brisbane core, runs like a dream. Hopefully DFI is only selling boards now with the updated BIOS.

Cons: Doesn't support DDR2 800, but is still quick with DDR2 667

Other Thoughts: Great board for a mid-range gamer or for someone looking to get into the dual-core world without breaking the bank.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fits nicely in my mid-size case, lots of room for airflow around graphics card. Love all the connections on it.

Cons: The onboard sound card seems to have the side and rear audio channels reversed. I had to plug my rear 2 speakers into the "side" jack, and the side 2 into the "rear" jack

4 out of 5 eggsFlash Required for 6000+X2: Read Below

Pros: Haven't Recieved it yet: Read Below

Cons: Haven't Recieved it Yet: Read Below

Other Thoughts: This Board will most likely need to be flashed in order to accommodate the 6000+ X2.

The board seems to post correctly however is identified as a 2CPU Unknown Proc.

5 out of 5 eggsDFI is my first choice

Pros: Bought 6 of these boards, they're a dream to work on. 4 ata devices supported, sata, sli setup, am2 processor, 4 slots for ram, usb and firewire expansion is plentiful. reset and power switch on board are nice for a tech.

Cons: no on board video.

Other Thoughts: DFI is a bit more costly, but worth every penny. I'll buy more in the future.

3 out of 5 eggsSPDIF is stereo only

Pros: Most of the components seem to work flawlessly.

Cons: Despite the fact the motherboard supports surround sound through the analog connectors, the SPDIF connectors only support stereo output. If you plan of buying this to plug into a surround sound system, you will have to use the analog connectors.

If not for this, I would have rated 5 stars but since I bought this board just for the TosLink connector...
