5 out of 5 eggsBest mainboard experience ever

Pros: Wow, what can I say...Excellent mainboard. Worked right out of the box. Easily has my AMD 4000+ at 2.8ghz stock voltages. No lock-ups. Stable on prime95 and superpi. EXCELLENT BIOS SETUP! Great price for what you get.

Cons: Wouldn't boot at first. Didn't have matching pairs of RAM and it wouldnt POST in the slots closest to the CPU, so i moved them to the two far ones and it booted.

Other Thoughts: AMD 4000+ SD @ 2.8ghz
eVGA 7900GS
Coolermaster Centoriun 5
Freezer 64 Pro
WD 320gb SATA

1 out of 5 eggsdon't buy

Pros: pirty colors!!!

Cons: WORST MB EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD.. THOSE INCLUDE ASUS A8N SLI DELUX, ASUS A8N32 SLI DELUX, EVGA 680i, ABIT IC7-MAX13,GIGABYTE GA-K8NE... THIS IS THE WORST BOARD EVER!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND DFI TO ANYONE. IF YOUR IN THIS TO SAVE MONEY GO GET AN OLDER 939 ASUS OR GIGABYTE.

Other Thoughts: EVERYTHING SUCKED FROM THE BOOK IT CAME WITH, THE LAYOUT, THE SUPPORT, AND THE CIRCUS OF ROUND AND ROUND ISSUES DURRING INSTALL.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Board

Pros: Inexpensive, fast, lots of oc features

Cons: Need to manually set some bios settings to get your memory to work with this board.

The manual sucks!

DFI Street is closed.

Other Thoughts: I had to manually disable the command per clock (2T) to run dual channel. I have Kingston Value RAM but most Generic/Value RAM won't work with 1T and dual channel. Use the orange slots.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst DFI build

Pros: Very affordable overclocking board. YES, the sli+sata2 mods do work. Opteron 165 @ 2.8ghz Corsair XMS.

Cons: The bios is a little confusing at first.

Other Thoughts: Yes for DFI boards the power supply is very important. I'm running a cheap 430watt cooler master extreme power. Works great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I hooked it all and with no problems. After I got my OS installed and set-up and OC my Opt 165 to 2.7ghz with no problems at all.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: When I was looking at this mobo I read how great it was once you get it all set up, but its picky about settings and memory. Guess I was lucky I had no problems at all... infact it went better then some mobo's I have uses in the past.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellant Motherboard

Pros: This is; by far, the best motherboard that I have ever owned. And yes, it is easily modified to both SLI and SATA2. DFI only makes 1 NF4 Socket 939 motherboard, they are all the same. Look at the pictures of th other mobo's. Very easy to install, there is tons of options for overclocking, etc....I have never seen a bios this good. Even though you can change EVERYTHING, you dont have too. Just plug in a chip and some descent ram and go. It doesnt have to be EXPENSIVE ram either. Just good quality. This mobo is the most stable board I have ever owned. NEVER a crash yet.

Cons: DFI-Street is down right now, but I dont think that will last long.

Other Thoughts: Don't scrimp on a Power supply (good advice with ANY motherboard) and you will be rewarded with the best computer that you have ever owned. DFI LanParty UT NF4d (modded to SLI and SATA2), OPTY 165 @2800 mhz/stock volts, air cooled, OCZ ram, fspGroup powersupply...AWESOME...

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent board

Pros: Excellent board with tons of options in the BIOS, which are very well laid out. Plenty of room for oversized cpu heatsink fan combos

Cons: too many n00bs attempting to run lightweight and/or inferior components on a superior board, expecting computer nirvana ... :/

Other Thoughts: Do your research before you buy parts on (DFI-Street) website for the recommended/supported components (power supplies, memory, ect.) There are even tutorials after you get your parts and start assembling if you don't many builds under your belt and need assistance.

148 Opty in it @ 2.9 Prime95'd without a sweat. 1 gig XMS-PC4000. Dual 36 Gig Raptors in RAID 0, 7900GS

5 out of 5 eggsNoobs...jees!

Pros: This is bar none the best OCer out there.

Cons: not for noobs

Other Thoughts: buy a good PSU, RAM and do your homework! I have had this board for a year and half with several different CPUs and now I have a Opty 165 sitting @ 312x9 = 2.8 stock volts and the HT @ 312x4 = 1248. Quit showing your noobness and do your homework B4 you write a bad review on one of the best boards ever.
