3 out of 5 eggsAvoid this one

Pros: It works, most of the time. You can get into the BIOS, the SLi function works rather well and easily.

Cons: Unstable. The board will lock up, and then you have to let the entire thing cool off for up to 3 hours for it to work again. I think my board's Southbridge cooler is too small, it gets so hot I burned my finger on it. The BIOS on this board sucks. There is no way to get faster RAM to run at it's rated speed without overclocking the beans out of the CPU.

Other Thoughts: I bought this board as a temporary because another, better board I had fried. Soon, I will be rid of this POJ forever, and get a board that works right, and maybe upgrade to AM2 and DDR2.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Everything works

Cons: It dosen't support DDR2 RAM

Other Thoughts: If you want to game with an AMD board, pay the extra cash for one that will use DDR2 RAM

1 out of 5 eggstotal junk

Pros: wouldn't even make it thru formatting my hardrive before it crashed

Cons: terrible layout powersupply connection near the front / blocking floppy connector. Terrible heatsink bracket placement

Other Thoughts: DFI should be ashamed of this product i wasted a day on this junk

4 out of 5 eggsPerforms nicely, little finicky though

Pros: Price, performance, several overclocking features and tweak settings, 3 pci slots.

Cons: Really gotta fiddle with this thing to get it to work exactly how you want it to, especially if you are overclocking.

Other Thoughts: This board is great for the price, sli works beautifully (im running two 7900gt's) and im not sure why others had issues with corsair value ram, but mine works fine. I had a weird issue with the board wanting to search for a raid array even when its disabled completely, but ive sorted that out. If you want sli on the cheap and good overclocking features, get this board.

3 out of 5 eggseh

Pros: good spacing, comes with everything. Manual isnt a novle, nor increadbly short with absolutly no detail. BIOS is good.

Cons: Died a couple of times on me, proboly my own fault though. Advertise's pci:e operate at 16x, they only operate at 8x. Reset switch dosent always work

Other Thoughts: eh

4 out of 5 eggsDiamond Flower Industries = Designed For Innovation

Pros: I'm glad for http://www.dfi-street.com/. If it wasn't for that customer friendly forum, I wouldn't nearly have such an understanding of this nearly perfect product. The layout for the RAM is a smart one having the wind blow across the ram parallel vs. perpendicular like in my old ABit motherboard. That means you can squeeeezze in some better heatsinks and other bonus items since the RAM doesn't make a mini-wall, however...

Cons: The PCI-e slots were dangerously close together and I couldn't get my Zalman CNPS9500 to fit. "Compact size" my foot... Depending on your Graphics Card size, I can tell you this: if you're into the Zalman CNPS9500, (aka worshipped heatsink) but want to use the Gigabyte Silentpipe II 7600 GT pair for SLi [like me ^_^] then don't use this motherboard, it just won't fit and therefore gets nailed at 4 eggs... :p to you DFI for botching a really good possibility ;_;

Other Thoughts: The only reason I got this motherboard, THE SOLE REASON in fact is that it's one of the VERY VERY old and dying breed of motherboards that still has the dreaded LPT Printer port. Until I upgrade my printer, which sadly won't be for a while thanks to this recent computer upgrade, I'll consider getting a more smartly built motherboard that doesn't waste slots on LPT...

All in all, better than some, but not the best, but I still managed to OverClock my Opteron 900 Mhz on this puppy... ^_^

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME!!!

Pros: 1.) Overclocking options - Vcore=1.85 MAX, Vdimm=3.2v MAX, Chipset=1.7 MAX
2.) Overclockability - I got this thing up to 2.7ghz=300HTT x 10 @ 1.55v
3.) Stability - I got up to 300HTT stable but it can take more.

Cons: 1.) Chipset heatsink overheats - It gets up to around 50-55c which is almost too hot to touch (I wouldn't increase the Chipset voltage unless I get aftermarket cooling). I also read somewhere that chipsets are rated for 90c but 60c to me starts to get into the danger zone.
2.) I had an error called nVidia Boot Agent, while booting up into Windows, but after I kept the Windows install CD in the CD Rom tray, I was able to boot into Windows and update the bios to the latest version which eliminated that error.

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: SLI < $xxx, gigabit, great overclocking features.

Cons: Loud chipset fan, unless you lower speed in bios, bios unstable, may reset.

Other Thoughts: This is a great CPU, but the bios problems could be easily fixed and shows a lack of support by DFI.
