5 out of 5 eggsGood little mobo for the $$$!

Pros: Two builds with this mobo, and from flashing the bios to o/c, it's performed well beyond my expectations for this outdated socket.

Cons: Socket 754, nuff' said.

Other Thoughts: Nice mobo for soho use, surfing the web, or light gaming (plays Halo just fine).

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Board has decent overclocking options. got it cheap with a combo. xfx card works in the agp slot,(4 other motherboards were not compatible with this card. glad to find something that worked.

Cons: i hate biostar because there products are cheap, but on the other hand they seem to work most of the time.

Other Thoughts: if you are looking for a cheap mb, with an agp slot with no problems, then this is your board. check open box first.

3 out of 5 eggsRead Carefully

Pros: Decent board I suppose. Most things work well. Plenty of IDE slots.

Cons: This board is really tall as regular ATX boards are I suppose. AGP cards are getting harder and harder to find. Placement for connectors are wierd. There is a Capasitor where the 20 pic connector plugs in so I had to trim the snapping connector by cutting it in half and it still barely fit.

Other Thoughts: I am not impressed with this board whatsoever. Actually I am very disappointed. I normally have very good experiences with Biostar, But this is not one of those good experiences.

3 out of 5 eggsStrange Layout

Pros: It got my computer somewhat running again.

Cons: The layout is very strange. My Nvidia GForce 7800 is about the same length as the whole mobo.
The IDE cables are way down at the bottom and the SATA connectors are above my AGP slot.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because i was running out of options for an AGP and 754 socket compatible mobo. so far im having trouble with bcod issues with the devicesi think and trying to reinstall windows xp. The drivers on the biostar website are old but im not surprised since this a pretty outdated moo i guess.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stable Board

Pros: Very stable and responcive. All kinds of overclock options and voltage controle features.

Cons: Board can overclock at hardware level on the video card i was really suprized to see that. Voltage and FSB can be controled on the CPU along with overclock options on the memory as well.

Other Thoughts: Ive had it for over 6 months paired it up with sempron palermo 2.8 (its overclockable on this board), corsairs C2PT memory along with the ATI x1650 pro and its handled my games really well even halflife 2 is great running now.

3 out of 5 eggsBuyer beware!!

Pros: Great combo deal with the video card, Mobo, processor, and HD.

Cons: Processor comes with no cpu cooler and finding one that fits is very hard. Biostar is no help, support by phone or email takes way too long and then you get no real answer; just a link in an email to some coolers.

Other Thoughts: If you are confident that you have a cooler that fits the motherboard, it's a great buy. Otherwise, stay away.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Great price. Full ATX size--nice to have 5 usable PCI slots even when using an AGP card. Built-in firewire ports (1 rear, 1 front)--pretty rare to find this on such a low priced mobo. Gigabit LAN.

Cons: Placement of connectors is not ideal. IDE connnectors are as far away as possible from a normal HD / DVD drive location. Same goes for the case fan power connector.

Other Thoughts: I combo'ed this with an Athlon 64 3200 CPU. Newegg shipped same day. According to the mfg-er website, the ATA is 133, not 100 as shown on Newegg.

I was upgrading from an older system, and WOW it is SO much easier to install the CPU heatsink in the 754+ mobos.

Also, my XP wouldn't load after switching in this new mobo and removing my old one (this is common with all brands). Just needed to do a "repair" installation from the XP CD.

4 out of 5 eggsSo Far So good

Pros: Nice, small, not much to it MB. Price is great too.

Cons: Nice, small, not much to it MB.

Other Thoughts: Just installed it yesterday and have had it running quite a bit with no problems at all. Drivers installed perfectly. All in all it is good so far for a days use.
