first build
- Comments: it works... its small.. its pretty cheap... u cant really overclock it... so whatever its good enough... if u buy a WD 80 gig Sata put a jumper on pins 5 and 6...
Good linux support, minimal docs
- Comments: This is my 2nd build - decided to make a cheap linux box out of this and some spare components. Install went fine, burn in with prime95 fine. Running FedoraCore4.
Documentation is rather sparse - as a result, I might pass on this for your very first build. Also, bios options are quite limited, but I don't really need anything fancy. Fan speeds would have been nice, though..
My rig (note - dual channel memory does nothing special on a 754 board - it's just what I have at the moment):
