4 out of 5 eggsGreat mobo

Pros: # of memory slots and max memory. # of pci/pci-e slots

Cons: placement of floppy slot makes it hard to get to even with small hands.

Other Thoughts: when i bought this the price was perfect. i would buy this board again if i wasn't trying to keep up with the times by going sli. other than that, perfect board even for mid range gamers.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Great board with a lot of potential. lots of slots for memory and pci. everything on it works for me. max memory is great too.

Cons: only thing i can say is the placement of the floppy slot. i dont have one but when i used it, it was hard to get my hands in there to plug it up. i had to unplug my sound card and then plug it in.

Other Thoughts: this is a great motherboard and i would but it again if i wasn;t going sli. 1gig ddr2 800, amd 3800, nvidia 7300gt 256mb, 250gb sata hdd.

4 out of 5 eggsOK for a budget board

Pros: Cheap, works fine. Easy to set up.

Cons: Cheap. I'm worried it will take a dump on me. Then again, budget board went in a budget system.

Other Thoughts: I love people who rate themselves with a "High" understanding and say things like "chipset not ATI" as a con. ATI?

5 out of 5 eggsPlesantly Surprised

Pros: Dropped in a 1GB/Sempron 2800+ combo and was ready to roll. This is a great motherboard to start out on the AM2 socket. It's a little thinner than other ATX boards I've installed (which was a good thing - it's in an HTPC). Great BIOS options for such a cheap board.

Cons: No 1394 support, but that's not a huge issue.

Other Thoughts: Grab this and get ready for future dual-core price drops. :)

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Great mobo. I previously had an MSN K9N 570, and it BSODed the computer all the time when playing games. This mobo, does not.

Good bios, many features. Small mobo, maybe as much as two inches shorter than all my previous ones, a good thing on the whole

For the price, this is a superb mobo, especially for an AM2 processor.

Cons: Floppy disk connector is on the very very bottom left of the mobo. The IDE connectors are on the very bottom right of the mobo. I have an Antec SX1280 case (an older tower), and I cannot connect more than a single DVD/CD ROM, due to the length between the drives and the IDE ports. I *cannot* connect the floppy drive, for this same reason; distance.

Also, neither HDD nor power LED work with my case. Neither does the reset button.

Other Thoughts: The mobo works, thats the most important thing. And with my luck with mobos, just having it work and not freeze up deserves a high rating.

5 out of 5 eggsMuch Better!

Pros: This is a pretty good motherboard. It was quick to set up has planty of features. I have learned from experience that the tech support on this MOBO is available and excellent... don't ask how I know!

Cons: None to be shown yet...

Other Thoughts: I wrote a review earlier that said that this MOBO was DOA when I got it and I was going to try to get a return. Well, this is that return. It works fine and I have no problems. Furthermore, it turns out that before the problem was that my case was shorting it out. So the MOBO may not have been DOA.

2 out of 5 eggsBlew Hard - Let's Try Again

Pros: It's didn't explode... and NewEgg rocks! Oh yeah, the MOBO manufacturer had some good tech support.

Cons: Well... it started smoking so maybe I shouldn't have included the "Pro" that I did. From the moment I got it, it didn't work. Partly my mistake for using a PS that didn't meet the recommended wattage, but that shouldn't have mattered that much. So, I ran out to Comp U S A (did you know I can't say that here!?) and bought a new PS and it still didn't work. Then the smoking started and I freaked. Thankfully the processor was allright. I called manufacturer and they walked me through it and had no idea what the problem was. Diagnosis: Dead On Arrival. Called NewEgg and they went ahead and set up the RMA and it was no biggie. Thanks NewEgg!!!

Other Thoughts: Maybe it was just a lemon (I hope it was because I gave it another shot!). When it comes I will see if I can update this. The biggest problem it caused it that I have had to wait 2 weeks to get my PC together!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Very well

Pros: Simple to use BIOS for OC-ing. GREAT bargain mobo. Works very well with my Sempron 3000+

Cons: Voltage settings aren't numerical. IT's Low, normal, high etc... A big PCI card can get in teh way of the floppy and the front panel power pins/speaker pins, but just make sure to do it in the reverse order so it doesn't become a hassle.

Other Thoughts: Great mobo - a very good budget buy, with lots of features. I got a 1gig stick of ram, Sempron 3000+, OC'd to 1.8ghz on stock cooling the temperature has not BUDGED. I'll re-write a review if anything happens, but so far, GREAT.
