AWESOME!
- Pros: Awesome mobo, great bios features, overclocks easily, handles 8 gigs of ram, sooooo many SATA, great mobo
- Cons: PCI Xpress 1X's should be between the 16X and the PCI slots cause of two slot graphics cards... Software that comes with it sucks, the fan and CPU temp software freezes everytime i open it...
- Other Thoughts: I have had this thing for about 10 months with no problems, if you get OCZ ddr2 667 gold, you must tell the mobo to clock it at 667 and up the voltage a bit, but i have heard this is a problem with the ram, not this mobo.
Awesome
- Comments: Looking for the best 775 mobo for your money? this is it! Great features! Change one simple bios option, and the thing overclocks for you!, 2 seconds, overclocked 3ghx to 3.2, completely stable! no problems! I was a little reluctant to buy a board without any reviews, but i took a risk. It was like puting it all on 11 red and hitting the jackpot! No reward without risk!
My Rig: p4 775 3ghz OC'ed to 3.2 this mobo ocz ddr2 667 gold ati x700 256MB soundblaster audigy 2 zs

good while it worked
- Pros: lots of connections, lots of features. Very Cheap.
- Cons: worked for about 3 full days. currently RMA.
- Other Thoughts: I will try the replacement board to see if I have better luck.
Great for Firewall box
- Pros: TWO RJ-45 ports at 1Gbps
BIOS is VERY configurable. Chipset has it's own (quite) fan
- Cons: INTEL..........
First CPU I purchased was (randomly) incompatible, CHECK compatibility list thoroughly before purchase.
- Other Thoughts: I am Using this for my SmoothWall Firewall, only complaint is that it is having problems with the CF->Sata device I am trying to use as a HD. Don't know what component is having the issue though.
Bios Configuration caused some problems but I got over it.
Foxconn Customer Support was fast and helpful, very matter of fact and none of the waist of time pleasantries I am so tired of hearing.
How is this so cheap?
- Pros: Jammed full with features and is cheap. Works great with my Pentium D 820. Not temp reading problems whatsoever. Has enough ports to turn into a server, or whatever you want. Has 1394B for fast transfer. Dual gigabit ethernet which I will never use, SPDIF, North bridge fan, and more. Very easy overclock in BIOS. Runs smooth at 3.2ghz. Very happy.
- Cons: had a little trouble getting IDE HDD to show up, but instructions helped.
- Other Thoughts: This is my second Foxconn Mobo in a row and both have served me well. The box itself is awesome, with a cloth-like feel and magnetic shut, Would get it just too look at the box.

Highlights
 |
Intel 955X+ICH7R Chipset Combination Supporting Intel dual-core processors, the Intel 955X Express Chipset represents the pinnacle in Intel's desktop performance platforms. The 955X also features advanced PCIe x16 graphics card support, Intel Memory Pipeline Technology (MPT) and 8GB memory with ECC support. The ICH7R provides HD Audio support and SATA 3Gb/s ports with Intel Matrix Storage Technology support.
|
 |
PATA RAID and Dual SATA RAID The onboard Silicon Image Sil3114 and the ICH7R chipset provide a great solution to your RAID requirements on different storage standards. The ICH7R chipset supports RAID 0/1/5/10 on 4 SATA 3Gb/s ports, and the Silicon Image Sil3114 controller offers 4 additional SATA interfaces allowing RAID 0 and RAID 1. In addition, this board also features an ITE chip to provide two additional IDE/PATA interfaces with RAID support.
|
 |
Industry Leading IEEE 1394b Motherboard This motherboard features the next generation IEEE 1394b interface from Texas Instruments (TI) to provide up to 800Mb/s transfer speeds for further enhanced PC connectivity with consumer electronic audio/video (A/V) appliances and storage peripherals.
|
 |
Dual Gigabit LAN The two onboard Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet controllers feature fully integrated Gigabit Ethernet Media Access Control (MAC) and Physical-Layer (PHY) functions. One of them even utilizes the PCIe architecture designed for high-performance and low-memory latency to ensure full Gigabit network bandwidth.
|
 |
SuperBoot and SuperRecovery SuperBoot reduces computer boot time by storing values during the system's initial boot up sequence and uses them in subsequent boot ups. SuperRecovery enables a "hidden (hard drive) partition" to store and recover BIOS CMOS setup configurations, partition tables, and more.
