Good System Builder Board
- Pros: Fired right up no problems. Board performs flawlessly. System overclocks with ease. Got my 1.86 C2D to 2.45 with no issues.
- Cons: The instructions pamphlet leaves somethign to be desired but it was straight and to the point and easy enough to follow. SATA driver update causes Windows Vista to require re-activation.
- Other Thoughts: E6400, EVGA 680i, BFG Nvidia 7900GS OC, 3gig Patriot RAM 6400, Viewsonic 22" Widescreen
Great Mobo
- Pros: I don't have this exact one, but I have the 122-CK-NF68-AR model, and it has a lot of the same features as this. I've had it since sometime in february and I've had no problems with it at all. Once I had it all together and running it ran smoothly until this date.
- Cons: None so far
- Other Thoughts: Intel Core2 Duo E6600, 2g Corsair xms2 ddr2 8500 1,066 mhz dual channel, WD 250g SATA hd, 2 EVGA Geforce 7600 GT vidcards. And anything I have done on it has had no slowdowns at all... gaming animation... etc...
Great Board(s)
- Pros: Super overclockability, high memory compatibility.
- Cons: Required MANUAL Memory and VOLTAGE configuration. ANY 680i based motherboard has potential for killing parts. This is corrected by MANUALLY setting memory and voltage settings. Since I did this, I've had a ROCK solid Machine.
- Other Thoughts: Match this board with Crucial Ballistix PC 8000 DDR-2 (2gb), Intel E6600 Core2Duo, and 2x 8800GTX and you have a SMOKING machine! OC'd out of box to 3.5GHz. Scores 18,000 with 3dMark 2006 without oc'ing video (It's too darned hot at stock speeds. 80c!!!!)
