5 out of 5 eggsPrice vs Performance

Pros: Drives 2 DVI Displays with independant resolutions and refresh rates. Fast GDDR-3 Memory. Plays just about any game out there with respectable frame=rates. Definate improvement over on-board and older chipset cards even if all you use your machine for is net surfing and media.

Cons: Struggles somewhat with widescreen resolutions during game play. Catalyst software will not work in VISTA period. Let Vista load its own WDM drivers for the card and do not install the Catalyst Controll Software. You can perform most of the adjustments normally done in Catalyst through Vista's controll panel with no loss in performance.

Other Thoughts: For the price this card is unbeatable. Wheather your a gamer or just a media junky, you will not be dissappointed, I promise. Sure you can blast a few hundred on a beast like the 8800 series, but why? Get this card to hold you over till ATI releases their DX10 cards.

4 out of 5 eggsBudget card with power

Pros: One of the best cards in this price and power range.

Cons: Beginning to show its age: not designed for "next-gen" games.

Other Thoughts: I made the choice to go with this less-powerful card because of the uncertainty of the release dates for the upcoming DX10 games, as well as my habit for playing games that are several years old. For what I do, I don't need an expensive card, and this one performs very well. Scores a 5.2 in Windows Vista Home Premium.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: A beautiful and fantastic card. The HUGE heatsink keeps it cool but quite heavy. Nice and quiet running most of my games max settings.

I love it.

Cons: None other then that Vista hates the drivers on the disk and crashed my computer. If you have Vista let it use the drivers it has for it. trust me.

Other Thoughts: Ba-da-ba-ba-ba I'm lovin' it.

(as opposed to McDonalds, not really lovin' Ole Micky-Dee's though, but I digress)

5 out of 5 eggsCannot go wrong here!

Pros: Great framerates, even at 1680x1050 widescreen (in games that support it). I can play HL2 at full details and Fear with most details enabled. I did NOT expect it to be THIS good. I haven't tried Doom3 yet, but if Fear plays well...

Cons: Only supports DX9, not DX10. Also, faster cards than this do exist...

Other Thoughts: But if you're looking for value, or a playable holdover until DX10 cards come down, this is a GREAT choice.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome card. I cranked up the overclocking on it and its working great. No driver issues like I had with my old 9600XT. Put the card in and installed the drivers and everything is running super smooth.

Cons: none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: I bought this card for my Wife's computer. She was having trouble running some games in Vista with the on board Intel Chip. This card is a great bargain at under $100 So far it has run everything we have thrown at it. Even gets great frame rates on games like FarCry and UT

Cons: none so far
