1 out of 5 eggsSAPPHIRE IS TERRIBLE

Pros: Worked only until outside of manufacturer's warranty.

Cons: Had to go through Sapphire's terrible online only tech support (no phone number), and their response was
"This card is no longer under warranty period, we will not be able to help you with your request."

Other Thoughts: Me or any other person I know will NEVER buy another Sapphire again. Products failing JUST outside the warranty is a joke. I suppose I should've expected such out of a Chinese company.

5 out of 5 eggsGood hardworking card

Pros: Good, quiet, hard working card. Can sometimes run a lil warm but it's my own fault for having every game cranked to 16:9 with max graphics settings turned up. :)

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: It's like a quarter horse. Nothing incredible. It's not a clydesdale or an apaloosa.. It's a hard working, head down, lets get it done video card. Jeesh, how many pixels per quadrangle per division of pi you want for 50 bucks?

5 out of 5 eggsGood AGP card

Pros: Good AGP card if you still don't have PCI express like me.
Eggcellent upgrade for aging Pentium4 system.

Cons: None(unless you have a PCI express slot but bought this old standard of AGP)

Other Thoughts: I can't wait for the day I can drop $800 on an entirely new system.

5 out of 5 eggsRV530

Pros: A dependable, sturdy entry in the r500 family of ATI GPUs. This particular GPU is the big brother of an rv520 I had in a laptop a few years ago, and although it's fallen in price, it's still highly reliable and quite a good performer.

Cons: None. I had to return it since the person I bought it for required a PCIe variant, not AGP. Hardly anybody's fault.

Other Thoughts: I write drivers for this chipset; this is one of the best boards out there if you're on Linux and you need a good card with full 3D support.

4 out of 5 eggsSapphire 100175L

Pros: Bought this to upgrade from a Radeon 9550 card to run newer graphics demanding programs/games on a 5 year old Pentium 4 system. Have been running this for @4 months w/o any system hangups/crashes.
Silent Hunter 4, Call of Duty 2, STALKER series ran smoother and some older games did fine. Based on their cost, I've been using Sapphire & Powercolor brand ati cards for few years & they seem to be very reliable.

Cons: None so far ? For the posters who had problems, hope they had cleaned up the older drivers, registry...etc before their install. ATI setup/control panel has never been user friendly. I only installed the driver & used a legacy version which fits most of my games. I'm an old time gamer so the latest is never the greatest.

Other Thoughts: I took a chance and bought an open box version of this card to save money and actually received all the contents that normally came w/the retail box. Inspected the card and found no damages/scratches especially on the connectors.
Once again, credit Newegg with their customer services and prompt delivery.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Excellent replacement for GeForce 6200. Raised the (relative) Windows Experience Index on Win7 RC from 3.5 (GeForce 6200) to 4.6 (X1650). The new card completely eliminated the occasional slight stuttering of DVD videos played from Windows Media Center.

HDTV out - Highly desirable for older HDTV with only component inputs (YPrPb) and no DVI/HDMI.

Cons: Free shipping would make this a super buy.

Other Thoughts: Computer uses an older Athlon 64 3000 CPU with 1.5GB DDR333 and 160GB IDE drive.

2 out of 5 eggsnot very long lasting

Pros: Good card for back in the day. Could play simple toonish games like WoW alright. Doesn't seem worth the $50 when you could get a much nicer, longer-lasting card for just a bit more.

Cons: Didn't seem to last as long as i had hoped. It just went caput today but it had power issues for the longest time. It would take multiple tries turning the machine on before it would actually stay on and this had been going on for almost as long as I have had it.

Other Thoughts: Tried card in multiple boards, with multiple different set ups on each board. When a card is dead, it's dead. RIP!
oh and sorry mum! no different rig until i can get a different video card :(

5 out of 5 eggsNice card for an older PC

Pros: Upgrading an older PC for a family member, I purchased this. Great for playing older games and such, not so much for newer ones. Easy to install, drivers with the disk work like a charm for Windows XP.

Cons: Cooling fan prevents the use of the PCI slot directly underneath it. I won't take an egg off for that simply because this occurs with many other cards.

Other Thoughts: While it is a nice card, you better have a great processor and a good amount of RAM if you want to try out newer games.

4 out of 5 eggsfilling a need for now

Pros: Upgade for me from dx9.0b to 9.0c, which opens up the
idea of at least trying demos of newer games

Better than no working graphics card at all, hence no
working computer at all.

Decent performance compared to what I'm used to...
went from x800xl to this with a performance drop in
older games but potential for slight increase in newer
more shader heavy games. before that was a GF2MX.
that was on a diff. system though (slower proc. athlon XP 1700+, slower/less mem. 512MB ddr 266, slower HDD
80GB 7200RPM.

small, quiet, uses less power, works w/my 300W psu

Cons: trouble OCing w/ati tray tools... probably need new ver.
ccc wont install. HSF prob. not up for oc anyway.

less perf. currently, but again better than nothing.

Other Thoughts: A64 3200+ 2.2ghz 512K L2 S754
2x512MB ddr400
160GB 7200RPM HDD
SB Live! 24 ibt
Compaq presario mobo, case
