4 out of 5 eggsFAST but LOUD

Pros: Best value for performance..

All games play full settings with out a hitch.. Easy setup.

Cons: Makes my pc sound like a jet engine. The price is low cause the fan is cheap! it cools well but its extreammly noisy dont get this card if you need a silent computer.

Other Thoughts: I candle handle the noise and the price cant be beatin.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great buy for the money. This card runs strong in the highest settings in the games I play. Good software for control of the card.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I play games on my home PC, and fan noise is not an issue for me. The cards fan is loud at full speed with the cover off. The software that comes with the card controls the fan speed and it has been only running at half speed. When the case is closed, normal operation, it is not any louder then my other fans.

5 out of 5 eggsDoesn't need extra power!

Pros: Awesome card! overclocked core from 400 to 575, memory from 490 to 600. Idle temp is around 30c and peaks around 50c during heavy gaming. 5902 on 3DMark05 with an Athlon 64 3200 (Venice) OC'd to 2.2GHz.

Cons: Slightly noisy fan, but worth it for the extra cooling it offers when overclocking this beast.

Other Thoughts: This card does NOT require an extra power connector (look at the pictures, and I own one!). For those of you that have purchased a DIFFERENT card that requires an extra power connection please refer to Newegg part #'s N82E16812198004 and N82E16812201004. Hope this helps!

4 out of 5 eggsCool, but annoying installing card

Pros: Very nice card, looks good.
I haven't installed it to run yet, so I can't judge that now... because...

Cons: ...apparently the card needs some sort of wierd "specialized 12V graphics card power adapter" or something. I don't know what it is, I don't have it on either my old power supply or my new one, and none of the pics around newegg of the nicer cards have this plug either. My card didn't have an adapter and nowhere here does it mention that you need an adapter, or where one gets this adapter.

Other Thoughts: Very dissappointed that it needed some odd, nonstandard power adapter that I don't have.

4 out of 5 eggsFast Card

Pros: Very nice overclock capability... performs very, very well. I liked the TriXX software.

Cons: Loud, very loud. Even in silent mode it's loud. By far the loudest component im my system.

5 out of 5 eggsWow!

Pros: Oh man is this card fast! Ran my benchmarks at 575 core and 600 memory (1200 effective) and got 5902 on 3Dmark05 using my Athlon 64 3200 (Venice) OC'd to 2.2GHz. No artifacts or glitches!

Cons: The fan is a little loud, but understandibly so, to accomodate the insane overclocking ability of this card. This card (the Fireblade version) was MEANT to be overclocked (check Sapphire's website).

Other Thoughts: After hours of researching video cards, this is the best value for a video card that Newegg has to offer. And as always, NEWEGG ROCKS!!!

4 out of 5 eggsRugger

Pros: Fast and good OCability. Took mine to 595Mem and 565 core.

Cons: Loud. Sapphire needs to look at the quality of their cooling solutions. Until that starts to improve I won't buy their cards. For less than the cost of switching to an Arctic cooling, you could go with an HiS IceQ - better deal IMHO.

4 out of 5 eggsnice LOUD card

Pros: Very nice card and an excellent value right now. Highest performance for the money when overclocking is factored in.

Cons: LOUD...sounds like an idling Mack truck.

Other Thoughts: The good news is Arctic Cooling makes and excellent silent cooler that will solve the problem or better yet but the HIS version of this card that NEww Egg sells that comes standard with the Arctic Cooler fan. They use Arctic Cooling fans for most of their cards.
