4 out of 5 eggsMixed Bag

Pros: Runs IL2PF with no artifacts uinlike my old card. Get 40-50 FPS at 1026 x 768 32 bit color 2xAA and 8AF in il2FB. 512 megs of RAM on card.

Cons: Only DGDDR2 rather then 3 Ram.
Runs very hot with stock cooler.

Other Thoughts: First card burned up in 3 months. (Yes I have lots of fans and a good cooling case.) Ran in 60's C with little or no load. RMA'd back to newegg. I removed the stock VGA fan on the new one and replaced it with a Zalman VGA cooler with Ram heat sinks. Temp down on average 15 C from stock cooler. Get it if you want to spend a extra $30 on a new VGA cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

Pros: Great graphics. This card smokes. I am playing Oblivion on the highest setting and it looks really nice. About the best AGP card you could ask for.

Cons: Runs a little hot, but unless your gaming for hours and hours on end, not really an issue. I usually need a break after about 4 hours anyhow.

Other Thoughts: You do need to hook up power to this card. Also, mine came the first time with nothing but the card itself. I guess its cause it is listed as an OEM. But one quick call to NewEgg and all was resolved. They overnighted the missing components to me, and gave me a credit for my next order. Way to go NewEgg.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Huge difference bewteen my old geforce fx 5200 and this card can handle most recent games.
Great price and fast shipping, work great under via p4pb motherboard.

Cons: none so far, about the glitch on boot up, all you need to do is upgrade new driver

4 out of 5 eggsit's better than what I had

Pros: Good graphics I can play some games at higher resolution than I could before with my (really old) ati radeon 7200 from 64 mb to 512 mb
One of the best cards for the aging AGP

Cons: for some reason the AGP chip on the back side of the board and the 4 memory chips on that side don't have any heatsinking. Not a big deal got some $.25 heatsinks with self-adheasive thermal glue from my local geek store skycraft in Orlando.

Other Thoughts: I can't seem to make it overclock Oh well not a big deal I have heard roumers that this card and asus Motherboards don't like each other too much. Mine seems to be running fine.
It's now official everything in my computer was bought on NewEgg
And I lov-em

5 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby at all...

Pros: Good looking card, nice fan/sink setup. Came with a lot of stuff for an OEM product. Sapphire really does make some decent cards. I've got the Core up to 590 and the Mem at 445 with no problems what so ever.

Cons: She's pretty slow out of the box with a Core of 500 and Mem at 405. I paid a bit more like a week before they dropped the price to where it is now, doh!

Other Thoughts: This card is quiet, I'm serious. Also I can't see paying more for the same card from ATI, just does'nt make sense. For what it does and what it cost it deserves a 5 star rating.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Purchase

Pros: Great Card! Plays all my games on highest settings with fairly good FPS. Supports dual monitors, which is awesome. Comes with great features, SMS3.0 being the most notable. The specs don't say it, so for a...
ny wondering, the card runs at 500mhz core/800mhz mem (400x2). I was able to push mine to 640/940 with the aid of 3x80mm fans and keep it at 44C idle, under 55C while gaming, and 65C after 5 minutes of artifact scanning.

Cons: Though the statistics say that this product has 12 pixel pipelines, I would like to point out that this product actually has 4 pipelines with 3 shaders each. This is not a negative, just a correction. On another note, though this product has 512MB, it tends to not be fully utilized due to the 128bit interface (with more research I may have gone with the 256MB version, but it was only a 10 dollar difference at the time of my purchase). Also, to those it may concern...the ram chips are DDR2, and from what I’ve heard, it can run a little hot. My friend who purchased the same card had some heat issues and couldn't push the memory clock past 840MHz and actually had to get an after market fan (I guess I got a lucky on my card).

Other Thoughts: For gamers still using AGP such as myself, this is probably the best card for the price (factoring in SMS 3.0, which is a big plus for me). Add in Newegg's great shipping price and quick delivery, and its definitely worth the purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card, Amazing Price

Pros: I upgraded to this from a Radeon 9550, what a difference! on 3DMark test the 9550 scored around 1700 with this x1600 I scored 7140! Amazing, set Battle For Middle Earth 2 to Ultra High settings and proceded to play 6 and 8 player maps without the slighest pause from this card. outstanding.

Cons: You do need to plug the card into the system's power supply to run the heatsink and fan. not too sure if you can call that a "con" about the performance of the card.

Other Thoughts: Athlon 64 3500 939
1GB Kingston HyperX 2,3,2,5
160GB SATA 1.5
X1600 pro 512mb AGP 8x 505mhz/450mhz
Dell 17" Flat Panel (600:1 contrast ratio)
3DMark03 - 7140

4 out of 5 eggsx1600pro 512mb agp

Pros: Great card for the price. The 512 onboard memory helps me use 2 monitors at nice resolutions (1 for TV 1 for normal use). Not as much horsepower as my now *dead* x800pro, but delivers very nice graphics at decent framerates for the price. I bought this to hold me over for another year or so until I upgrade to sli or crossfire.
I've overlocked this past x1600xt speeds, and thats on air. I'm setting up my watercooling next week (cpu+gpu).

Cons: I can feel the gddr2 memory difference, when I multitask like a monster, (burn dvd, play warcraft 3 3v3, and listen to music). However, playing a gpu dependent game like Oblivion while not multitasking, it works fine.

Other Thoughts: amd s754 3700 @ 2.7 225x200
1gb patriot @ 1:1 2.5-3-3-10
x1600pro agp
550w aspire psu

5 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Whew! Great upgrade for a poor college student like myself. Definately worth it. Newegg definately delivered a premium product.

Cons: Cons for an ATI product delivered by Newegg? Yeah right...

Other Thoughts: Buy it now...you won't regret it.
