4 out of 5 eggsDecent Buy

Pros: Simply put ATI cards just work. 16 pipeline design and good performace with most current games. Decent price for the performance at the time.

Cons: Shader performace is a bit lacking and the heatsink seems to bother some buyers. Wish it was about $40-50 less than it was when I purchased it.

Other Thoughts: The reason for going ATI, was the shitacluar quality of the first 7900gt's. After 3 artifacting cards and almost 2 months of no gaming, I chose to go back to ATI never had mass scale problems with their cards.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: Absolutley wonderful. It works great. Can run pretty much all games at highest settings with good performance. Does an amazing job. BF2 runs most maps at 90-100 fps with absolutly highest settings.

Cons: Does not work with ATITools. Causes crashes, overheating, etc. Your best bet is CCC and ATI Tray Tools. Fan is extremly loud at high speeds (which usually you will never have to use anyways). Sounds like a hair dryer.

Other Thoughts: Please note, BF2 swaps with only 1 gig of ram, so your performance might suck with only 1 gig of system RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!! Great Price!!!

Pros: Great price/performance. Easily out does my X800 XL (which was no slouch). Runs FEAR, Prey(high), Quake 4(ultra) and UT2004 at 1280x1024 and they all look and perform great. Card is big and heavy, well made. Easy install and setup, I use the Omega drivers and Riva Tuner to manage my video card.

Cons: Fan can be loud when cranked up, but hey, that just means it's working!!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

Pros: It's fast; runs Half-Life 2, Hitman: Blood Money, and many more games I've thrown at it smoothly with full details at 1152x864.

Cons: It's BIG and takes up two slots. I have to take it out just to get to my hard drives. The fan can be noisy, but I don't notice it when wearing headphones.

Other Thoughts: Great card for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Great Price

Pros: The core and memory clocks on the card doesnt come set at what it states in the description but you can easily overclock it. Ati's overdrive auto overclock program is really nice too. it pushed my clocks to 689/790.

Cons: it gets kind of loud when u play games but its a good cooler. really big too which is kinda overwhelming but still a great card

Other Thoughts: best card for your money imo

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a card!

Pros: Great video card that can handle anything with aplomb! I only have a amd 64 3000 and it still runs very well at 1280X1024 all high settings on Battlefield 2. Also Call of Duty 2 rocks as well. It just eats it up and spits out very pretty graphics.

Cons: Hot card.

Other Thoughts: I was thinking about putting an accelero third party cooler on it, but that would void the warranty

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Had this card about 2 months now and have running the heck out of it. I have Overdrive set to 675/775 running without a hitch.

Cons: Had to replace stock coller cause it was too loud.

Other Thoughts: 9800Pro to 6800GT now back to Ati with this card. Ati does produce better visuals with better framerates when AA/AF is turned on.
