5 out of 5 eggsStill rocks!

Pros: Never had any issues that I wasn't able to fix with minimal searching. Had it in a crammed Lanbox case and while it could get warm (60C+) it never took any damage, and still runs current games today on high settings with very playable framerates!!

Cons: Since it was a bit of an odd entry in the 4800 series, being a downgraded 4870, drivers were sometimes hard to pin down, and half the time the programs I used to monitor/run the card wouldn't know what the card/driver was, but never had any real operating issues.

Other Thoughts: Was a great card for the price (was somewhere around $130) and took everything I threw at it in stride. Upgrading to a 7870 soon.

2 out of 5 eggsregret

Pros: nice card, runs somewhat newer games. worked for what i needed it to.

Cons: fan is very loud but i did not take an egg off for that. Customer support from sapphire is one of the most frustrating things i have ever done. after about 3 months the card started overheating frequently, cleaned it out with the cans of air. still over heating, i made a ticket with sapphire and i got one response and then they DELETED my ticket, i was still having problems and i am furious. do not ever waste your money on sapphire products and i will never ever buy from these people again.

Other Thoughts: games played:
Diablo II
Teamfortress 2
tried to play battlefield but card overheated two minutes in.

3 ghz AMD Athlon II x3 Rana
4gb Gskill Ripjaws
MSI 770 gx mobo
sapphire 4860

4 out of 5 eggsSo Far So Good

Pros: Perform excellent when Crossfired.
Run cool and quiet in the right case (Lankool K62).
256 Mem bus, 1 GB DDR5.
windows 7 scores them at 7.4

Cons: They heat up like a furnace in the wrong case (coolermaster Elite 330).
Not DX11, but I don't care.

Other Thoughts: At first, I was using a coolermaster elite case, as I was on a budget, but I quickly realized the urgency of getting the Lankool K62.. man, I'm glad I didn't wait any longer. 2 of these cards DEMAND plently of air flow.

5 out of 5 eggsSWEET

Pros: Its a great Performance/price contender.
Much better than a 5750 or 5770
Overclocks like a BEAST 900 core 950 mem is easily acheived
4890 performance for 130$

Cons: no dx11 support, but by the time DX11 is mainstream none of the 5750/5770 cards will be able to play them

Other Thoughts: GREAT BUY!!!

Pros: absolutely a great card, i have had no problems on any game whats ever, i jacked up all the settings on bioshock 2 and woooooooow, i havent tested crysis mainly because crysis sucks and i dont care to have that on my computer, there are much better games i can be playing.

Cons: doesn't bring me a coffee in the morning???

Other Thoughts: amd athlon II x3 2.9GHz triple core Rana
4gb ddr3 1600 G.skill ripjaws series
650w apevia PSU
sapphire hd radeon 4860 1gb

seriously all the people fighting over the 5890's and all that are dumb, they should have waited untill the price dropped. this card can run everything on the market at decent to good fps and for ohhh about a 200 buck difference, ill stick with this thanks

4 out of 5 eggsIn Love,

Pros: I have 2 of these cards crossfired, and have no problems so far they run realy cool around 32C idle 45-50C gaming on enthusiest settings 1080P 25" no hesitation at all. the price was perfect aswell. thanks ATI

Cons: I would have gave this card a 5 egg's but bridge cables for crossfire, were a real hassle to find but was not impossible.

Other Thoughts: Thanks Newegg.

4 out of 5 eggsBang for Buck

Pros: I made a budget build for a friend who wanted to play games like MW2. I knew this card would be fast, but it suprised me how fast it is. I have a 2000-3000 dollar setup, (i7, 2x crossfire 5850, 4 ssd drives in raid) and once the game loads, I don't notice any difference in gameplay between our computers. (aside from the price) This runs MW2 maxed @1080p with 2x AA and I've yet to see framerates dip below 60fps and this is in STOCK configuration.
I got this card on sale for only a bit over 100 USD, and for what it does, it's the best deal right now.

Cons: The card is large, it also requires (2) six pin connectors to power it.

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H Motherboard
Athlon II 620 quad core @ 2.6 ghz (stock)
WD 500 GB 7200 RPM HD
Radeon 4860 (stock)
21" 1080P Monitor
Total build cost? 700ish. Not bad for an all around decent system that can game. It won't beat any speed records, but for resolutions of 1080p and below it will play just about anything out there at high detail levels.
