5 out of 5 eggsGreat AGP card!

Pros: Very fast card. Huge graphics memory prevents temptation to use too much system memory.

Cons: AGP? Not sure this is a con, but the future of graphics cards is PCIe.

Other Thoughts: I think this card is as fast as any AGP based system needs. If you run into performance problems, upgrade the system board to PCIe and go from there.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Card for an Aging System

Pros: Covers all my basic gaming needs. Has been able to play every game I've tried, most on high graphics settings. Couldn't find a better deal elsewhere- thanks NewEgg. If I could do it over again, I don't think I would change a thing. This was a great deal for the price.

Cons: Struggles sometimes when games get really intense, but that may be my aging rig.

Other Thoughts: Bought this card as a replacement to a NVIDIA 128mb card from a few years back. Wanted to put one more AGP card in this system before I eventually rebuild with a PCI-E board.

I just wanted a card that would allow me to play all the current games with no major issues. I'm not a stickler for the highest end graphics- i just want my games to run.

5 out of 5 eggsNo prob.

Pros: Installation went like clockwork, even if it did take several restarts. Good frame rate in Wow with settings maxed. Handles oblivion okay too. The fan is quiet(er than the 2 others in my machine).

Cons: can't complain....

Other Thoughts: I used to use 2 display adapters for 2 monitors. This one card now is attached to both my screens.

1 out of 5 eggsSupport Egged

Pros: High Specs for an AGP card

Cons: As Bill stated on 1/12/2007 3:00:34 PM, support is terrible. I've had frequent crashes and lock-ups on frequency mishaps and although under manufacturer warranty, they request you the owner will pay for all shipping, handling, and additional fees. Absolutely the worst hardware manufacturer support I've dealt with. This is beyond other issues with the tech support agents.

Other Thoughts: Decent quality short of the problematic card. Would be nice to get support for it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome video card

Pros: Awesome video card. Intel pentium D 2.8ghz processor, 2gb 400mhz ddr ram, 21inch LCD flatpanel monitor, I am able to run world of warcraft: The Burning Crusade at top notch graphics. Every single setting can be turned to max and i run without lag. One of the best AGP video cards around, i love it!

Cons: The power plug in was a bit flimsy, but hey, it works.

Other Thoughts: great card for how much your paying, I highly recomend this video card!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: I have been using this card for just over three months. I team it with an ACER AL1917 wide screen monitor. This is a computer that I use in the Family room and it plays excellent. Videos look great on it and I have no problem working with Office XP files. For the Money it is an great Graphics card.

Cons: None, only own the card for 3 months

Other Thoughts: I am so happy with it that I may purchase an LCD TV to hook it too.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for AGP

Pros: Best AGP vid card Ive found, Runs Vanguard fantasticly, and dosent crash like I hear the best AGP nvidia card does running the game. It also installs super easy.

Cons: Too long for any slot but the top one on my motherboard, so dont try to put it in if you want it in a secondary slot. Might just be my mother board though.

Other Thoughts: It also stood up to my Rome Total war 20,000 Incendiary pig test that my old 9250 would always crash on.

4 out of 5 eggsDiamond X1600AGP

Pros: Nice card, support was helpful

Cons: The power connector was very flimsy.

Other Thoughts: I wasn't able to keep this card because my mother board was an older AGP version. I ended up replacing the motherboard. When I reordered I bought the BFG7800GS OC. Much nicer card if you can spare the xtra money.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Probs Here

Pros: Price, rebate (at the time),bang-for-the-buck. It runs Oblivion in high mode (so much sweeter than the clunky low graphics I was enduring before). When I bump up my system RAM there'll be no jerky motion at all in my Oblivion games.

Cons: Downloaded the most recent Catalyst drivers from the Diamondmm.com site. It took forever to install entirely (maybe it was my low (512MB) system memory?)

Other Thoughts: Your power supply better be up to the task. 420 Watts or better, shouldn't cut corners here. Make sure your case is adequately ventilated and blow out all the dust bunnies. This card can get hot quickly when the game action heats up.
