Pros: Excellent graphics.

Cons: First on worked for 3 days then RMA. Second one worked fine for 5 days then started to produce lower and lower 3dmark scores. Going to exchange for better.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy a 7900 MANY problems.

Does not work on 1600x1200+ resolutions

Pros: The card worked fine for the first three months I had the original card as I only had a monitor able to support 1280x1024 resolution.

Cons: After figuring I had one of the lucky good 7900gtx cards I decided to upgrade monitors and tried the card at 1600x1200 resolution. In BF2 the card causes the monitor to refresh and eventually start to have small pixel artifacts. In DDO it has huge tearing artifacts, and multicolored polygonal artifacts. I have tested the card in totally different machines and it performs the same in each. I am on my third card now awaiting the fourth and requesting that ASUS test the card thoroughly before shipment

Other Thoughts: If you enjoy tracking items shipped back and forth I would recommend this product. If you are not into that I would not buy this card especially if you are planning on running it over 1280x1024 resolution.

A Powerhouse

Pros: This video card tops all others Ive had in the past 10 years.

For the first time ever, I have a video card that can play a Game Purely off the video card alone. I have an FX-55 but not ECC ram...so my Processor acts kinda funny....3D Marks CPU tests are horrible. BUT...The ASUS 7900GTX 512MB makes up for it. With stunning graphics, Framerates over 80fps on games like FEAR and BF2. This thing will take whatever I throw at it. I absolutley love it.

Bottom line great performance for the money.

Cons: If you have a small case, give up....because this Card is huge I estimate 8-9" long and the heatsink is a best so make sure you have at least 3, yes 3 open slots on the back.
