This GeForce 6200TC card from Asus comes with a full load of features including a DVI-I port and a D-Sub port for either a dual monitor setup or easy setup with either an analog or a digital monitor. The 256MB of memory can be boosted to an effective 512MB with TurboCache technology so you can run all of the advanced features in today’s operating systems and games.
Gaming also benefits from multiple screens. Run the game on the main screen and have the Asus OSD and GameFace Messenger chat utility open on the other. Asus OSD lets you chat and manage your card's settings without having to exit the game. Overclock on the fly for maximum control of your game play experience.

Dependable, versatile, good value
- Pros: For the price, I like the card's ability to run the extra 512 MB memory for compatibility as well as the 128 bit effective bandwidth for performance. I had no problems installing standard nVidia drivers under XP or Vista, plus the card also works with nTune for monitoring temps.
Aero rates it at 3.2 on my system. It renders beautiful graphics at decent framerates. For example, when I run this card using the DVI output with my Hanns-G LCD widescreen monitor, I get 25-35 fps on WoW at 1400x900 with default settings, with no issues.
- Cons: This card does run a bit hot under gaming apps. So, I added an additional chipset cooling fan. My case's GPU temp sensor reads 98F under desktop apps and max 119F on games like Half-Life 2 and WoW.
- Other Thoughts: This is a solid value, excellent for apps and pretty good for games too. PCI-x16, 256/512TC, 64/128e bandwidth, and nVidia brand all for under $50 including shipping.
Gets the job done,quite satisfied.
- Pros: I've worked with two of these before. My buddy had one and then I bought one more for a friend of mine. They're cheap, and the specs are low, but they get the job done. Don't expect any heavy gaming, but if you want to be able to play BF2 with low settings for cheap, than this is the card for you. Easy to install in the PCI-express slot, and I've had no problems with the drivers.
- Cons: Well, it has passive cooling which can be both a plus and a minus. It's of course, completely silent, but it gets hot with heavy use and you shouldn't even consider overclocking this card. I would recomend having a case fan blowing on just to keep it cool. Otherwise you should be fine with just the heatsink.
- Other Thoughts: Great for a cheap gaming rig.

Good Card
- Pros: No problem using with Vista, disk included worked great, didnt have to unistall drivers for onbd graphics, good value for the $$$
- Cons: Havent had long enough to offer opnion
- Pros: It works well for every day use and some complex games. No problems for the light to medium computer user.
- Cons: It seems to have problems with the reassignment of memory use. When having multiple users logged on it looses all high settings and I had to restart the computer every time.
