5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I purchased this card about a year ago, upgrading from ATI Radeon 9600. What a difference it made. It's allowed me to play games at high to very high settings and made even my desktop look great. Great buy.

Cons: Seems like it takes a small power drop after about 6 months, but nothing noticably large.

Other Thoughts: If you want a good card for an even better price, this is what you're looking for.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat specs, but didn't work in my system.

Pros: Has great specs, made by asus so it's quality, has a great fan.

Cons: Is apparently not compatible with my Tyan Tiger MPX motherboard, maybe it doesn't like the AMD chipset, but it worked fine in two other computers, but didn't POST in either of my dual athlon MP machines.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this product, though I can't get it to work in my main computer (dual athlon MP 2600+) or the family server (dual athlon MP1800+).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great graphics. Excelent for the money.

Cons: takes a power drop after a month. Fps drops by 10 and starts lagging on alot of high details.

Other Thoughts: All though it droped like it did, it is still very good and I would buy another if I needed one.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent video card for agp. Does the job great. had no install problems. Overclocks ok to. got mine at 420/570 with stock cooling.

Cons: None. Manuals stink but not a prob for me.

Other Thoughts: Great buy, but honestly if your gonna spend $xxx get a 7800gt pci-e instead. it might just be time for an upgrade.
Newegg shipping is a+

3 out of 5 eggsDecent for gaming, bad for video

Pros: In a game, this outperformed anything i have used, and runs games very well.

Cons: I wish i would of looked for a better card before getting this one, when you wanna play like a movie or anything, when using WMP, your whole WMP will freeze up, and everything else, your cpu goes up to 100% and things load extremely slow. When using winamp, you get sound, but no video, nothing but blackness even with every codec installed.

Other Thoughts: If you plan to use this card for gaming on windows, i would highly recommend it, i think it's a problem with the driver, as this card worked fine in linux for playing video's.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid end to the AGP era

Pros: Good HDR/DX9 on Source games (hl2, cs:s, gm, etc). I'm on an athlon XP 2600/1 GB DDR. Card performs very well for such an underpowered CPU.

Cons: It's AGP, but you knew that.

Some HDTV (780p) .MKV decoding is unwatchably jerky, but I'm chalking that up to my slow proc.

It takes a full-sized molex connector for aux power instead of the "floppy drive" style plug common amongst previous models, as well as ATI cards.

Other Thoughts: One of the best of the last AGP cards. If you're trying to stretch that old Motherboard for another year or so I'd buy a card like this.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent speed, benchmarked around 3100 on 3dMark05 free version default settings (1024x768). Decent, but not stellar upgrade from my 9800 pro. Runs nice and cool for such a small fan.

Cons: Not as fast as I would have liked, but that's likely due to AGP. Noticed the water in Far Cry doesn't render right. Memory clock is actually 250Mhz, but DDR makes it effectively 500Mhz I guess. Minimal documentation.

Other Thoughts: Overall, not a bad buy; recommended if you want to game for another season or two before deciding to upgrade to PCI-E
