Good frames BAD reliability.

Pros: Very fast card. Greate frame rate on every game I've played. It got 64 FPS on the Lost Coast video stress test which isn't bad considering that it's in a 3.0 Ghz P4 mahine with 1G ram.

Cons: First card crapped out playing Doom3. It just stopped working. Put my trusty 5200 in while i returned it. I recieved a second card quickly but noticed that it ran on the hot side even with all the cooling. I got an aftermarket CPU cooker from Zallman and havn't looked back.

Other Thoughts: This is a good performing card but needs work to be reliable. For the money i expected a hastle free part.

Troublesome card

Pros: Good cooling, fast

Cons: One of the most unreliable cards ever made. Leadtek customer support is terrible.

Other Thoughts: Luckily I bought eh card at NewEgg and they acknowledged the widespread issues with this card and let me RMA. Unfortunately prices had barely changed at all so the card I replaced it with almost a year later was no faster than what I had. Bad luck considering the HUGE timesink dealing with this card turned out to be. If I could bill Leadtek what I charge my customers I could have bought a brand new computer.

Leadtek - what a headache

Pros: Great graphics, super heatsink.

Cons: I don't even know where to begin. I had this card for almost a year and a half before it began to have the problems with artifacts like others have encountered. I RMA'd the card and Leadtek sent me not one, but two replacement cards that both were also defective. After 2 months of dealing with bad RMA's, Leadtek stopped returning my emails and phonecalls. I ended up filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and now, almost 3 months later, Leadtek is finally replacing my video card with a 7800GS. This was one of the most frustrating and time consuming endeavours I have had with any company and I would not recommend anyone getting this card unless they are ready for a big headache.

Other Thoughts: I doubt I will ever buy from Leadtek again, they have no sense of customer service and I have come across several forums filled with customers just like me who have been disregarded by Leadtek. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!
